Pours a deep gold color, finger of white head. canned 11/11/13
Smell is big on pine, caramel, bready malt, a nice grapefruit and tropical smell to it aswell.
Taste is pine, herbal dankness, resin, underlying citrus chrachters, a little booze, bready malt, caramel, biscuit malt, tropical undertones, finishes with a dry piney bite
Mouthfeel is pretty full for a single IPA, dry, oily but not to hard on the palate at the same time
Well it is certainly a older school IPA, a lot of dank pine an light citrus notes. Frankly it was a nice change of pace from all the tropical bombs that are out there nowadays, huge malt backbone... Based on todays standards some might confuse this for a high ABV APA. But damn is it tasty, balanced and o so drinkable!

A-Thin white head. Orange, rich amber body.
S-Nice aroma of citrus and hops. Faint pine.
T-For me, the taste is desirable. A nice balance of hops, citrus, and pine.
M-Crisp, nice dense carbonation in the mouth, medium bodied.
O-This is a very good, middle of the road IPA, in terms of drinkability. Not too light, not too strong. Very drinkable.
Serving type: on-tap
