This is an excellent Irish-style red ale on nitro tap at 21st Amendment. It is malty, highly drinkable and smooth, yet has good, solid flavour and character, so does not suffer from the one-dimensional blandness that often affects beers of this style.

Pale copper-amber with big, creamy, off-white nitro-tap head that lasts forever and leaves thick, creamy lace that is long lasting.

Aroma is malty, toasty barley, lightly earthy leaves, hint of chocolate.

Taste is similar. It is malty-toasty with lots of toasty barley and grain, earthy-leafiness, hints of chocolate. It is just slightly on the sweet side and very drinkable.
