Had this from a can to frosted mug at Fremont Diner in Sonoma. Pours hazy yellow with a fluffy white head. Aroma of cardamom, some grassy hop, hay, a hint of light fruit sweetness. Flavor follows the aroma closely with lots of hay flavor, sweetness and honey, spice like cardamom, and a nice light slightly banana-like yeastiness. Light bodied, but creamy with medium plus plus carbonation. Overall I enjoyed this beer a lot. Surprised at its relatively low score.

Serving Type - Can
Appearance - Straw yellow, tan tint, nice thick, foamy 1 inch head with tons of lacing.
Smell - Floral hops, spices, pepper, banana, lemon, grassy/earthy. Lots of yeast and sugars.
Taste - Starts of with classic flavors, floral hops, lemon, orange, yeast, spices. Grassy and earthy but, rather bland without any funky saison flavors. Some sour notes near the finish. Kind of a one two punch, floral fruits, then spices and that's all.
Mouthfeel - Fruits, spices coat the tongue. Palate gets more of the same with a little yeasty notes. Aftertaste is weak and mild sour.
Overall - Bland, forgettable and very boring. It starts out promising but quickly dies fast. Flavor is very basic and lacks sweetness of yeasts and sourness that most saisons have. Not a winner from a brewery that I really enjoy.

A: Pours a cloudy pale yellow amber, with a fair amount of fizzy white head. A thin layer retains, leaving good lacing.
S: Yeasty and sweet, pretty standard for a saison. Pleasant enough, though not outstanding.
T: Medium sweetness, with the yeasty not-quite-funky saison coming through as well. Again, good, not amazing.
M: Medium body, medium to strong carbonation.
Overall, it's a solid saison. It's probably not going to be the best or most unique saison you'll ever try, but it's enjoyable, and it's also more easily available and affordable than the average saison.

Clouded golden body with a bright white head, speckled lacing left behind. Aroma has spice mild citrus notes, brewed with cardamom well I couldn't have pulled that one out by itself. Slightly metallic note in the nose and definitely in the flavor, bitterness from the spice additions, lemon lime quality just plain unbalanced and not a good representative of the style. Mouthfeel is dry bitter, tingling with acidity, and spices hard to get down each sip lasts around longer carbonation is forced a bit much in all regards. Overall, I tend to like 21st Amendment releases this one has to be off, or it was just a straight miss.

12 oz can poured into a Delirium Tremens snifter
A: Hazy yellow with a one finger fluffy soapy white head. Nice looking brew and very pale but refreshing looking.
S: A lot of belgian yeast character, nice bubble gum and spicy sweetness is very dramatic, which is great and glad to see such character from my local Bay Area brewery. Strange but I almost get a holiday like spice aroma, very similar to all spice or maybe even a little pumpkin spice, interesting.
T: Follows the nose with its spice character and very bubble gummy Belgian yeast. Definitely more spice forward than yeast forward although yest character is present just takes a back seat to the spice.
M: Nice spiciness lingers with a tad bit of yeast character as well as a gentle bitterness. Very refreshing and sessionable.
O: A nice saison but does not have the yeast character that I look forward to and is common in traditional imported examples but still tasty. Will buy again and thoroughly enjoying.

At first taste, this seems closer to witbier/Berliner weisse, light and bubbly. some spice and floral notes. Lots of yeast, sourdough aspects to this. some light citrus on the palate, short finish. Doesn't have the full body of the French/Belgian varieties, aroma not as full either.

Poured into a tall pint glass: color is straw gold, slightly translucent, head is bright white, presents about 1/2 inch thick, then dissipates to a ring.
Smell is sweeter than many saisons, not caramel but a sweeter malt note, bread and biscuit are there as well, some light clove and maybe banana, and some light ginger.
Taste is dryer than the nose would lead to believe, malt is light, pils, biscuit, wheat, yeast notes are clove, banana, maybe some ginger interplay, hops are grass, bitter, drying.
mouthfeel is drying from the thinner profile and light malt flavors, yeast attenuation and hop bitterness interplay in the drying qualities.
Overall, a sweeter smelling saison than many, malt flavor does dry in the mouthfeel but there seems to an added flavor, such as ginger that is a touch too much in this style.

12oz can that's about 3 months old.
Look is a light straw color with plenty of suspended sediment. Smell is wheat and vomit. Taste is crisp and bitter, whole spectrum of yeast flavors: spice, pear, apple, bandaid, clove. Sweet buttery malt shows up once in a while, and the hops are English and in the background.
Good but the smell was terrible.

A: Pours a medium straw yellow in color with moderate to significant amounts of active visible carbonation rising moderately quickly from the bottom of the glass as well as some faint lemon yellow highlights. The beer has a finger tall dense foamy off-white head that reduces to a medium to large patch of thin film and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Light amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of cardamon with some earthiness and light amounts of spicy/peppery yeast. There is also a light amount of slightly sweet lemon citrus (almost like a lemonade) plus a touch of wheat..
T: Upfront there is a light to moderate amount of wheat flavors that is followed by light to moderate flavors of slightly sweet lemon citrus. There are light to moderate herbal, grassy, and earthy hops as well as spicy/peppery yeast. Additionally there is a moderate flavor of cardamon towards the finish which lingers.
M: Light to medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Moderate amounts of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink and with the can format easy to bring places with you. Refreshing and enjoyable with well hidden alcohol.
