I got this as a single at Union Jack's on the Manatawny. I drank it in a pilsner glass. Expiry date on the back of the label.
Pours a clear straw yellow with a beautiful two finger head of white foam. The head falls to a nice 1/8" coating with fantastic lacing. Carbonation appears moderate.
Aroma is faint biscuity pils malt, very clean, with a pleasant level of DMS, dimethyl sulfide, which most ignorant drinkers refer to as "skunky", but is actually a product of your malt or yeast. Skunky is only from light struck beer, having a smell of mercaptans, the shit they put in narural gas to give it a smell. Also, a very nice clean spicy hop smell comes through later.
The first flavor is, surprisingly, hop bitterness, not real strong or anything, folowed by a slight toasted pils malt, maybe from decoction? Spicy hop flavor is in the back, but there. Dominant flavor is hop bitterness. Aftertaste is bready, hoppy, and bitter.
Mouthfeel is crisp and dry, with bright carbonation. Very refreshing. Finish is also crisp and dry.
This, to me, is one of the better German pilsners I've had in a while. I'd do a case of this anytime.

500ml can into nonic pint. best before june 18, 2015. consumed on june 24, 2014
a: three and a half fingers of fast-dissipating off-white head on top of a transparent pale yellow body
s: grassy crackery malts, slight citrus. pretty strong and inviting aroma here
t: follows the nose. malts all around (bread, crackers), as well as a prominent herbal hop bitterness that's hard to ignore and nears being harsh. hints of lemony citrus notes. shy spice flavours. overall this is clean and very hoppy
m: light bodied, medium carbonation
o: a really bitter but great pilsener. i don't usually drink lagers but i enjoyed this
