Hazed golden/amber color with a frothy head. The glass is covered in Brussels lace.
Nose screams fruit, notably pear and ripe green apple. A bit of lemon mustiness appears, too.
Incredibly balanced flavors. Fruity apple and pear notes lead to a spicy, peppery finish profiling black pepper and coriander most likely. Very enjoyable.
Striking mouthfeel is extraordinarily well carbonated -- sharp and lively. Adds an incredibly dimension to the beer.
This is eight percent abv? Unreal. While this isn't really a true saison due to its alcohol content, it certainly drinks like one. Truly unique and unbelievably delicious. Highly recommended.
