Poured from a corked and capped bottle, with their typical goolish label. (Thanks Wolf) into a tulip glass. It poured a golden yellow and orange with an incredible head and significant lacing as it drops, sadly quicker than I would hope.
Smell is fresh and fruity and sweet with some yeasty funk to it. That continues right into the taste which is surprisingly more sour than sweet and that is probably opposite from the nose of it where sweet dominates. Probably the most funky sour saison I can remember drinking although balanced with sweet apples and spice.
Medium body and carbonation and well balanced sweet and sour which hides the 8% abv. The dry finish makes you want another sip right away.. which i kept doing until the bottle was empty :)
Great, great interesting beer. Was a delight to drink and looking forward to it again.
