Served from a 750ml capped and corked bottle into a Hill Farmstead stemmed tulip. This was a gusher.
Appearance- Huge 4 finger head that left quickly and left mild lacing. Hazy orange with some floaties in the glass.
Smell- Some tart apple, grape, and lemon. Light earthy hops and a reasonably malty back ground.
Taste- Smokey, pear, flowery rosebuds or dandelions, caramel malts. Sweeter finish. No hints of booze.
Mouthfeel- medium carbonation, lighter body, no heat.
Overall- I've heard so many descriptions of the beer and mine seems different than the others. Interesting beer for sure.
