I wasn't sure if to review this brew or not, but there is a mix of opinions around here. It seems as if most people that got the carbonated bottle got the true intention of the brewers while the ones that got the still ones were disappointed.
I was one of the ones that got no carbonation, so you know what I think about this brew. The bottle came with cap and cork which made me expect lots of carbonation but it was totally still.
Appearance was very weird. Pinkish pale with orange and totally flat. Never had seen a beer like this.
Smell was super funky and sour. I wasn't expecting it at all either, but it went with the appearance.
After all this I still went ahead and tasted it. Not good. Super vinegary and sour. Got some grain notes in there as well.
Mouthfeel inexistant. No carbonation at all. Just a whole mess.
Not a pleasant experience. Really was looking forward to trying this brew given the two great breweries that were involved. All I can say is that it reminded me of the people that tried WTF from Sam Adams

Slightly hazed, but bright orange. A glowing, beautiful color. Moderately thick near-white head. Nice retention and pretty, sticky lacing left down the glass. Very pretty saison. I had heard about some bottles having carbonation issues, but this one is spot-on perfect.
I knew this beer was going to be special the moment I first smelled it. There's a lovely combination of lemon and lime notes, along with dried hay and grass, and some earth and very mild funk. Nothing is overpowering or dominant, and it all comes together really nicely. There's a mild apple character as well, but this smells like a Sprite saison, if there ever was one.
The flavor follows a similar path as the aroma. Subtle, earthy, but mild yeast combines nicely with lemon and lime esters. Again, this resembles a Sprite, but in the form of a saison. Low bitterness and no alcohol presence, whatsoever. Some mild berry and apple notes as well complement the bright citrus notes. Incredibly drinkable, and a wonderful beer for the hotter summer months.
Medium bodied with high carbonation. Crisp. Refreshing.
Fantastic. I had major concerns going into this bottle, knowing that some were fantastic and others were dreadful, at least according to reports. Happy to report that this bottle was fantastic.

Thanks to Adam Jackson for this unsolicited box after seeing my ISO.
750ml bottle corked, capped and labeled, poured into 1000ml Erlenmeyer Flask. http://i.imgur.com/YHYntay.jpg
Pours an interesting ruddy clay color with tons of fluffy white head.
The smell is pure Fantome yeast. Very distinct dirty, musty, mushroomy smell up front that gives way to layer and layers of aroma. A slight bit of smokiness that turns into ham. Some definite bright acidity like a fresh lemon in there too.
Taste is a nicely refreshing. Good malt body with a touch of acidity to even it out, nice dry grain flavors that make it no problem to work my way through this entire 750ml bottle.
Mouthfeel is light without being watery. Full flavored but refreshing enough to keep me coming back for more.
At first when it was cold this beer leaned a bit too heavily towards the dirty mushroom flavors but as it warmed those toned down and were cut better by the acidity leading to a wonderful drinking saison. If you like Fantome yeast, you will like this beer.

750 mL bottle poured into a snifter.
Appearance - Gushes instantly. Pours with an equal quantity of foam as beer. Great retention. Pretty orange body with a reddish hue.
Smell - And it's odd. Citrus. Caramel malts. Smokey aroma. Slight acidity.
Taste - And it's even more odd. Citrus tang. Flavor drops off in the middle and comes back with a smokey and kinda plasticky flavor.
Mouthfeel - Medium low body. High carbonation. Funny aftertaste.
Overall - A strange concoction. Not sure it deserves the hate it gets, but it is weird.
