Chilled bottle poured into a sniffer.

Pours with a very solid three fingers of head and a bold golden and orange hazed body.

Aromatically this beer is weighted heavily with floral hops. Lemon and honey notes break this up and blend nicely.

Taste is characterized with malt flavors along with subtle citrus notes of lemon, orange and a little grapefruit. Mild spices such as coriander and cinnamon make sit slightly below the flavor palate but make themselves very present in the dry finish.

Light-to-medium bodied and moderately carbonated. The abv register doesn't break through the core flavors and is almost unnoticeable.

Very good beer if not quite equal to the other triples of offer.

Appearance - hazy golden color with white head

Smell - ginger, coriander, lemon, lime

Taste - citrus headlined by lemons and limes, ginger and coriander

Mouthfeel - medium bodied, medium carbonation, effervescent, nice citrus tones upfront, the spices shine through on the finish, flavors linger properly after the swallow. Smooth and refreshing, slightest bit of tartness on the finish.

Overall - an enjoyable beer, drinks lighter than others in the Tripel category, to me this is more of a hybrid Tripel/Belgian Pale Ale/Saison. Very well done, recommended for you Belgian beer lovers.

Price Point - $12.99/750ML bottle

Great belgian triple ale; something between ocher and orange in the color and a great white foam that everytime you shake slightly the glass, it grows.
Smell is hoppy, malty and with some grains.
Taste is a bit tart and fruity, a bit fizzy. But you can also feel quite well the hops and malts; notes of bread with grains and notes of passion fruit. Bitterness is perfect.
Mouthfeel is awesome! Great body and carbonation.
I bought a 750 ml and in the end of the degustation there were some grapes and red fruits strong notes in the flavours and aromas, excellent!

33cl bottle. Pale yellow color witha nice, white head. Excellent tripel ale, with a nice aroma of hops and spices, also some pepper. A full flavor but also with a nice and dominant hop flavor that stays in the mouth for quite while. Willdefinitely drink this beer again.

330ml Bottle (£2.89 from Beers of Europe website):
Orange amber with a finger-sized, bubbly white head that is a solid white colour and settles as a fine, patchy lacing on the surface.

Yeast with touches of spice and a light sourness with light fruits that include some pears, apple and a hint of citrus. The beer seems quite lively on the nose with some further fruits, a little bit of banana and some more spice as well and a few hops towards the end to round things off with.

Spice and yeast to start off with along with some fruits typical of the style; some apple, pear and grapes as well. There is some citrus flavours and a touch of sweetness that follows along with some subtle hops and some floral notes.

Smooth and quite dry with a slightly spicy and sweet mouthfeel that goes down easy with the alcohol content pretty well hidden. The body is a light medium and there is a noticeable carbonation to the beer although its not gassy or overdone.

This one was a slight disappointment when compared to the high standards set by previous Belgian strong ales that I've tried over the past few years and I was definitely expecting a lot more from this one. Whilst not a bad beer it wasn't one I particularly enjoyed, nor one I'd pick up again sadly.
