750 mL bottle at just under refrigeration temperature poured into a snifter. Bottled in 04/2008.
A - Pours a hazy golden orange body with a creamy, well-laced head formation.
S - Amazing. I could stick my nose in this beer all night long. Loads of horse-blanket musky funk alongside bright, lemony citrus and bready yeasty notes. Incredibly beguiling and inviting. A solid reminder of why I love sour beers.
T - Tart, sour, and funky. Reminds me of the flavor profile of some of the best gueuzes I've tried. The finish is very tart and acidic, calling to mind lemon and bitter orange. There is a touch of apricot and unripe peach here, too, rounding out the flavor profile a bit.
M - Spot-on carbonation, with just the right balance of sweetness to complement the sour tartness. The kind of beer that makes you salivate and want to go back for another sip.
D - I could just continue to gush and gush about this beer, but the bottom line is this: if you like sour beers, find a way to get your hands on this beer.

750ml bottle served in a tulip glass.
A: Wrapped in paper bottle. Pours a slightly hazy dark orange color forming a medium light yellow bubble and fizzy head. Medium to low retention and only few spotty lacings left in the glass. A thin layer remains for very long on the top
S: Great fruitiness with notes of white grapes mainly. Sour and vinegar, nevertheless, smooth and pleasant. Notes of leather and oak. Metallic and earthy. Flowery hops. Great balance
T: Very fruity upfront. Strong notes of white grapes, pale malts, vinegar, oak and leather. Mild tartness. A bit earthy and metallic. Perfect taste
M: Light body. Medium carbonation. Lambic and woody aftertaste
O: Excellent drinkability. One of the best sour belgian ales I've ever had. Extremely balanced and smooth. 7% ABV that cannot be noticed. Masterpiece
