Notes/Commercial Description:
Original Pub Style is a light copper-colored medium-bodied with a nice dry bite at the finish. A subtle combination of Cascade and Willamette hops give this ale a fine floral aroma and a slightly fruity aftertaste. The taste captures the freshness of a hand-crafted brew pub ale that goes right from the conditioning tank to your glass!

This pale ale poured a luscious, bubbly honey-gold and was topped by a modest white head. The citrus hops are most redolent, but there is a cedar background. The taste is not as hoppy as the aroma as the bread and butter taste dominates, especially at the start. From that point. however, not much happens, and I found the finish rather dull. As the initial bubbles indicate, this is one heavily carbonated beverage. A decent, but not spectacular choice.

12 oz. bottle poured into a pilsner glass.

Appearance: Pours a clear copper with a one-inch white head that dissipates quickly. Heavy carbonation,

Aroma: This smells a little funky. There's just something off; there's a bit of an unappealing corny quality to the aroma. Basically smells like a Bass that got left in the sun.

Taste: Thankfully the taste doesn't follow the nose. It has a basic pale ale profile; it's malty and has some hints of toffee, caramel and toast. Unremarkable but not bad.

Mouthfeel: Pretty standard body. Not wimpy and watery, not heavy either.

Overall: This is very average. This brewery has a big local following and I'd check out some of their other offerings. This beer, however, is forgettable.

This is okay and the price is right for its okayness. Very flowery smell and hoppy taste, not a favorite, but is drinkable for a pint, but not two. I would not hesitate to order in a pub with a Reuben sandwich or something similar. It would stand up to the forward flavors of such foods.

Draught: This one pours a clear, golden color. It had a wisp of a white head on it that left a little lacing. The aroma is a bit lighter. Some malts, as well as grassy and earthy hop notes. The taste is clean, and leans towards the lighter side. Some malts, and a little earthy hops. A slightly dry finish. Pretty easy drinking.

another generic English based ale form this mob, lackluster at best. the taste is indeed a bit like boddingtons, maybe with malts more on the stale side and a touch sweeter, but the same basic concept is happening here. pils malts and metals, not the best finish. the issue of no carbonation has turned me right off from grittys beer, they all are plagued by that issue. this could be nice on a nitro tap with all kinds of texture, but as it stands from a flat lukewarm tap, it didn't do the trick for me. easy drinking enough, but some co2 could really liven this up. not a beer to avoid altogether like their ipa is, but one that needs some reworking to become something id want to procure again.
