Hits those nice black middle, tan 1" head notes, looks good. Aroma of charred malt, roast, chocolate malt feels.
Taste had more hops/bitterness than most Irish Dry Stouts, but it wasn't so far out of style guidelines that you feel gipped in terms of what you get not meeting expectations in a bad way. Not overly thick, not supposed to be. Its a good everyday stout that has lots of roasting and hops. Well priced. Consistent. You could call it a porter or an American stout, its somewhere in between styles.
