poured from bottle into my Dos Perros pint glass

A - Dark yellow, still very transparent just darker than most lagers. Only a thin quarter inch head that vanished quickly.

S- The smell is very light, but there is malt and some hoppyness.

T- Pretty simple, not much character some mild hoppyness maybe hint of citrus.

M- Very light, moderately carbonated.

D- Its good for the style, not my taste. Could drink a few here and there.

A pale yellow that's pretty clear but for a light haze, this Pils is still pretty bright. It grows a foamy white head to one finger, where it keeps up pretty well and leaves pretty good patching in its wake.
Grassy with a lemony twang in the nose, it's also a touch damp and earthy with underlying grains under somewhat dry malt notes. It's also got an off-putting vegetal note, though, and something a little like cheese that might work in a certain IPA but not a lighter style.
It improves quite a bit in the flavor, though it's a bit too sweet with just a flash of the vegetal note still coming through. Otherwise it has a modicum of grassy hops to counter the earth. It seems more like a hybridized Euro lager of some kind, but it's not bad.
The body's a little too big for a pils, but its balance of crispness and smoothness works fairly well despite that it isn't especially clean.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a pilsner glass. Appears a dark golden orange color, with a solid 3 fingers of tan, foamy head. The head has great retention, and leaves a touch of lacing.

The nose is very sweet and malty, with a touch of yeastiness. Not a ton of punch to the aroma. The taste follows suit with the malts, lack of hops, and some yeast. This is pretty laid-back and seems a little lack-luster.

The mouthfeel is medium bodied, a touch heavy for a pilsner. The carbonation is on point, and the finish is nice. Overall, this is a below-average pilsner that is lacking in impressive points. Refreshing, but doesn't remind me of a pilsner at all.

Bottle into glass

A: nice clarity. decent lacing. better than i expected

S: nice floral hops and malts. like spring flowers. fresh grain, honey.

T: much like the smell. easy well balanced brew. the sweetness gives way to a nice dry finish. again the balance on this one is great

M: nice medium light feel.

O: good
