Bottle says it was bottled in the first week of June. Consumed on July 23, 2012.
A: Body is amber-orange with a small whitish head. Some lacing.
S: Not terribly strong in the nose - a touch of hops (citrusy) over some sweet malt. Slight spiciness too.
T: Follows the nose, more or less, though there's more malt sweetness than expected, leading me to the fleeting thought that this is more like an English IPA than an American-style IPA. Honey sweetness up front is followed by citrusy hops. Finishes with a lingering dry hoppy bitterness.
M: Medium in heft, slightly creamy feel. Modest resiny feel to it.
O: Decent. Not great - a little too sweet for my IPA preference, but good stuff overall. Lingering bitterness redeems it a little.

A- Very nice copper-amber color with some real nice thickness, not clear at all. Very appetizing beer.
S- Smooth blend of citrus and hops. The citrus overwhelms the hops just a bit.
T- Again, the citrus is a bit overtaking of the hops, but a real smooth blend. It has a mild sour taste that lingers with the after taste.
M- It's a happy beer, simple mix, the everyman's IPA. Much like Milwaukee, not over the top, but impressing for some difficult to understand reason. I very personable beer. No one attribute makes this beer, it's just a very good blend that isn't made for everyone, like some IPAs.It's fresh, and opening.
Overall, being from Milwaukee I'm a bit biased, but honestly say it's not my bottom bitch. I love everything Lake Front offers, and this is a staple beer for me I can pick up and enjoy anytime, very versatile. This beer can fit into any outing, party or situation. Great outdoors, fine sittin' around, goes great with pizza, is nice with a fancy pasta...probably not a steak but whatever...I would suggest this as a top tier IPA for anyone.
