Nothing wrong with this beer, but nothing to remember either.

Pours hazy orange with a big fluffy head and amazingly sticky lacing. There were bits of sediment floating in it from a vigorous pour. The aroma is slight and orange-like, with a hint of slightly sour grain behind it. The flavor is a bit malty and bready, with some slightly bitter orange and lemon character. The bitterness is slight and quick to dissipate. The mouthfeel is surprisingly thin, though there remains a sneaky new layer of bitterness on the finish.

Not bad.

Bottled on month and week notched on label. 12oz bottle poured into a pint glass. Pours a murky hazy golden with a decent white head that sticks around and leaves great lacing and has nice retention. There is sediment/floaties as well. The aromas are nice, but somewhat faint. I'm picking up some candied tangerines and some orange peel. There's a touch of pine and alot of caramel malts. The flavors aren't extremely flavorful, but very crisp and bitter. There's a burst of citrus and pine. The malts seems to disappear in the flavors. Very refreshing. The carbonation is very active, giving the beer life. It's on the lighter side of medium-bodied. Alcohol goes unnoticed.

This might not be the most exciting IPA, but it's extremely well crafted. Very sharp, crisp and refreshing. It personally reminded me of Finest Kind and Bengali Tiger, but even better.

This beer pours a medium cloudy orange. It has a good white frothy head.

Nose is strong pine needles, floral and a little spice.

Taste is a pleasure with really nice hop character with hints of sweetness and malt. Really nice and easy to drink.

Mouth feel is also quite frothy and delicious.

6 Pack of 12 ounce bottles, part of a recent rush of Lakefront beers to the Inland Empire of California- I think $8.99.

Pours a moderately hazy golden hue with a huge frothy rocky head- lots of carbonation in this one.

Aroma of bright clean fruity hops- not overly sweet, not overly sharp- well done.

Flavor is overall pretty good- a nice sharp hop bite after the initial semi-sweet bready malts. Nice balance. Only flaw I felt was a bit of a metallic aftertaste.

Nicely bodied, very drinkable, well made and enjoyable.

I bought a Lakefront 8-pack variety from Woodman's in Janesville, WI for about $11 in Fall 2010.

Pours a nice cloudy amber color with a decent head of foam that last quite a while. Has a mild scent of hops mixed in with other malts and grains. The taste has a nice texture that feels just right. You can tell this an IPA, but the taste of the hops is a lot more mellow than most IPA's. The taste could be a little bolder but that's about it. A really good beer to start with if you are unsure if you will like IPA's.

Had this at Local 44 in Philly as part of their $1 kick the keg draft special

dark amber body...off white head...decent amount of lacing is left on the glass

a big hit of floral hops up front...becomes a bit more mellow in the end...dry finish

nice pine flavor from the hops....malt background keeps things in balance...slight bit of bitterness at the end

moderate amount of carbonation on your tongue...very crisp and refreshing....medium body

only paid $1 per pint for this but i'd be willing to pay full price for this one if i see it around again

Was pleasantly surprised to see this at Finger Lakes Beverage in Ithaca.

12 oz. bottle poured into a nonic. Bottled in Sept notched on the side.

Pours a hazy golden yellow hue with a fluffy two finger off-white head that slowly dies down to a foamy layer of bubbles. Lots of clingy lacing left behind on the sides of the glass. Sweet citrus hops in the nose with bitter earthy notes as well. A faint pale malt aroma with some grass and hay underneath. Pretty fresh smelling beer overall. Taste begins with pink grapefruit, mandarine oranges, and sweet floral hops. Bitter hops and fresh cut grass midway with a slight malty undertone. Aftertaste is semi-dry with a touch of lemon and pine. Light to medium body with a crisp feel and a lively carbonation. This is a very solid and drinkable IPA, one I could easily see myself returning to down the road.

12oz. bottle

Pours a nice orange-amber with a small white head that maintains. Decent lacing on the glass.

Nice herbal and floral hop smell. A bit of the grainy caramel malt base sneeks in as well.

Herbal and floral hops upfront that give way for some nice grainy malt flavor. IBUs are rather subdued. Finishes slightly dry and rather clean.

Medium-light body, medium carbonation.

This is just a nice, drinkable IPA. Very sessionable, it is very well rounded and requires little effort to consume.

Wiseman Justin Reporting:

Appearance - Cloudy, dark burnt orange. Pours a thick frothy head that takes about 2 minutes to dissipate. Some lacing.

Smell - Nice strong smell that I noticed from about a foot away. Heavy hops on the nose. Some faint citrus (mainly oranges). It's nice from afar but up close it's not that good.

Taste - Light burnt hops. It's an adequate IPA but I've had much, much better. Still, the beer has no flaws, just no real strengths either. Woody, hoppy and some orange.

Mouthfeel - The carbonation is a bit high; other than that it seems pretty average.

Overall - This is a pretty average IPA. I don't feel like I wasted my money on it at all.

12oz longneck
A) Pours with a finger thick head, then settles to a thin lacing on top. Hazy body with some settlement. Copper in color. Lacing is thin and semi-sticky.
S) Orange. Pink grapefruit. Some floral tones as well.
T) A nicely balanced IPA. Not an over-the-top hop bomb. The bittering hops are sharp and dry with some citrus tones. Malt base has caramel and some fruity hints to it.
M) Fizzy. Medium body. Dry and a bit chalky in the finish.
O) A decent IPA. I'd have another.
