Bottle poured into weizen. Fast reducing two and a half finger off-white head.

Lack of carbonation, not sure of freshness.

Hazy brown in color

Smells of banana, hay, bubblegum, and wheat

Mouthfeel: Thin

Taste: Sour at the finish! That is the most pronounced note! Otherwise banana

Overall, this wasn't bad! But, it didn't satisfy my hankerin for a hefeweizen.

I don't think I'll have it again, unless it is on draught.

On-tap at the Brown Street Brewery in Rhinelander. Reviewed from notes.

A: Clear pale orange body under a finger of white forth. Ok retention but no lace. No better than average.

S: Pleasant mix of spicy wheat, bubblegum, and banana. A hint of clove. Very pleasant.

T: Follows the nose precisely: lots of wheat malt and bubblegum, with banana and clove in the background.

M: Light and lively. Creamy in the end. Great.

O: This wasn't anything to write home about, but it was extremely effective as a summer thirst quencher. I think I ordered a second pint, but it was quite the bar crawl so I might be misremembering that detail.

Cheers!

Pours a cloudy straw with a half finger of head that dissipated quickly. Nose is tart and yeasty. The wheat is certainly upfront, but this offering is pretty mild in general. The finish is a bit tart. This is a basic Hefe -- nothing to get excited about at all.

Appears clear and golden.
Frothy head, with "goldy locks" head retention. My glass was clean.
Rich, clover smell.
Thin mouth feel, and
Light, well balanced taste, un sweetened, with clove and banana notes. No citrus for me. Prefect Weiss, and ideal for summer, just as the bottle says.

All local, right down to the yeast strain. I'd get a 6 and a case for a BBQ, cave session or for tailgating in a hot second, all the faster on sale.

Loved this beer; Lakefront hit it out of the park, even if the MKE's Brewers don't nearly enough.

A: Pours a cloudy light golden color with a small head that fades rather quickly with nominal lacing.

S: Aroma of banana & cloves, mild citrus and not much else.

T: Taste of banana, cloves mild citrus with a bit of malt and spice in the background. Has a gritty bitterness and a fairly clean finish.

F: Fairly light body, a bit coarse and grainy.

O: Comes across as a bit too sweet. Not a beer I would seek out.
