An inaugural batch in 1989 makes this the first U.S.-brewed fruit beer since Prohibition. The medium-light body is jam packed with bright Wisconsin Montmorency cherry tartness, followed by two-row pale malt and Mt. Hood hops. The initial burst of flavors wane, leaving a distinctive lager crispness and mild cherry tartness.

This is a great fruit beer that unless you live in Wisconsin, you are not going to taste it. What is unique about this beer is that it is a sour cherry instead of sweet.
