Brewed exclusively for Kclinger's Publik House in honor of Ty Cowell getting his 1000th beer. Served on tap.

Appearance - Pours out with a reddish/brown hue to it. Some off-white head that dissipates over some time, but leaves lacing.

Smell - Very sweet smelling with some honey notes, as well as a candy-like maltiness. As you get to the bottom of the glass, a little bit of alcohol seeps through, but not a whole lot.

Taste - You can taste some graininess in this brew with a good sweetness. The honey and malts come alive and the balance is very nice. A great beer for the spring!

Mouthfeel - Smooth and creamy on the inset with a slight alcohol tinge on the end. Sort of similar to Victory's St. Victorious.

Drinkability - Gotta drop it a notch for the 8% ABV, but this is truly a good beer with a lot of character. If you hit Kclinger's (either location), give this one a shot.

Another brew from my all day adventure to Kclingers.
The beer is served in a pint glass chilled. Exhibits a nice mahogany color with a soft beige head surface layer that sticks around throughout the sampling.
ARoma is slightly nutty with caramel and toffee as well.
First sip reveals a beer with a slightly creamy texture, and low carbonation, and average thickness.
Flavor is rich with caramel, almond, and some light chocolate hints too. I also detect some light roastiness as I sample.
Very smooth and easy to drink. Quite a good beer

The beer pours a dark brown color with a thin off-white head that fades to lacing. The aroma is good. It has a good malty scent that boasts of dark crystal and roasted malts. It also has a dry lager yeast aroma. The taste is good. It has a rich malty flavor that boasts of dark roasted and crystal malts. It goes down easy and finishes dry, but smooth. The mouthfeel is decent. It is a full bodied beer with adequate carbonation. This is a decent doppelbock. It has good flavor, a fine drinking brew.
