Poured from a 12oz. bottle into a pint glass. Simple label with a warthog. This baby pours beautifully. Just lighter in color than sweet tea. Lots of fine sediment when held up to light. 2 fingers of marshmallow foam turn into frothy egg whites in about 2 minutes. Lace is like a light moss covering a willow. A deep smell reveals drying paint, and pine. Sounds repulsive? Far from it...actually very attractive and enticing smellwise. Mouthfell is fairly full and bold. Taste is immediate lemon. Strong hops, burned toast malt with a hint of bitter chocolate and caramel.. Unbalanced and very different tasting, not in a bad way...just in a very different way. A bit to unbalanced for my tastes...tastier malts please. Otherwise, It's a different experience. I can see some people falling in love with it..just not me.
