A: Darker than usual for the style, dark amber and supremely clear. Decent off white head that remains as thin layer. Average lacing.
S: Hop oil, baked orange, and generic hop scent. Some citric scents near the end of the quaff.
T: Slight hop oil, slight citric acid, and a baked orange flavor in there. Malty presence from the almost beginning throughout. Soem slight pine flavors. Little pungent hop presence, and that's a let down.
MF: Thin at times, and slightly tart.
Overall: A total let down. Does nothing for the style and drinks more like an APA (a bad APA at that). I am all about supporting local PA breweries, but not at the sacrifice of my taste buds.
