Poured bottle into a glass.
Appearance- Good carbonation with a thick head. Orange/amber in coloration.
Smell- Aroma of Citrus. Floral as well. A bit malty too.
Taste- Bready and sweet. Also has some grassy notes. Has some hoppy bitterness on the back end but not as comparable to most other IPA's. Taste of alcohol also lingers.
Mouthfeel- Medium body and high carbonatation. Appropriate.
Overall- Not like most IPA's since it is more sweet/bready/malty without that slam of hops and complexity. The appearance and high abv did hold true to the style however. I was also confused about the label; it says Wilkes Barre PA, which is 120 miles away from Lancaster.
