A bottle from my uncle poured into a drinking glass. Couldn't tell you how old it was, so that's not a good sign.
A: Much darker than a typical IPA, a deep amber. Also had a decent two finger head, but it didn't last too long.
S: The best part. Rich, with the pine and hops of an IPA, but also some deeper smells of malt and syrup
T: Doesn't follow up with the smell. Fine, amber-IPA taste, but not much to it.
M: Slightly less carbonated, but that could be from age.
O: I think a fresh one would be delicious. This was not overly impressive.
