The place formerly known as LMBC was the first stop of the 2 day mega central PA brewery tour. Stoudt's was to be first, but they don't open 'til 12:00, we were there 11:30ish. Oh well, that was the only stop that we'd been to before, so no big loss.
So we get to LBC like noonish, muscle up to the bar. Liking the whole former warehouse thing they have going on, and the brewhouse being sort of below you. We split a sampler because of the amount of beers on tap (9?), plus a cask of Milk Stout/Hop Hog. A lot of lagers on tap, all solid, none too exciting. The beers we're familiar with are sort of new again, so much better fresh from the source. There's a real nice couple next to us, we talk about great places in Philly and Reading, and I recommend the infamous chocolate-covered strawberry. If you don't know what this is, well what the hell is wrong with you? They loved it, and the guy wasn't a fruit beer guy even.
But I digress. The service was awesome, our bartender was very nice, and the food was fantastic. I had the lamb burger, done to perfection, and my wonderful ladyfriend had the chicken wrap.
Finished up our little glasses and we were on the road again...right to our main destination...

Visiting the restaurant at the brewery for lunch/dinner on a Sunday afternoon.
The atmosphere is cool, rustic/industrial, exposed brick and steel beams that appear to be original to the building. Also a bar area and a smal merch area behind the attendant stand, and I think there was a porch.
They had 14 beers on tap, and you can order a sampler of them all. All of their regulars, a few seasonals and specials. A wide variety of styles, so you could definitely find a style you like. However most of the beers were just "okay". Probably the Milk Stout and Hop Buggy were the tops.
Food was good - I had the Steak Frites, which was great. Service was good - only complaint is that our calamari appetizer came out to the table after our entrees.

Stopped by here for dinner and to try a few of their brews. Right off the bat, you'll notice their parking lot is pretty small and if it's full, you have to find on-street parking like we did, which we luckily found close by. Once inside, we were told about the parking across the street after we were seated. Some signage would've been nice. Oh well, nothing a few beers can't fix.
Our server was prompt, knowledgable and friendly. I defaulted to their IPA and was not disappointed. Not the greatest but certainly drinkable. The wife tried the lager and the daughter the Celtic Rose. The lager was decent but we all agreed that the Celtic was not what we expected.
Our food order was taken promptly, and we were served piping hot meals that were appealing to the eye and very tasty. We had two pizzas that were both very good and quite filling.
Overall we were pleased with the experience, enjoyed the food and atmosphere and would certainly return again.
