I had the chance to have dinner w/ a date at Lancaster Brewing company. I have been to the brewpub many times over the years and the homebrew club I belong to meets there.

I really like the atmosphere at LBC, the view of the fermenters and brewing equipment, very casual, yet interesting with copper topped tables. You can relax, play darts and unwind.

The quality is very good. I can't say I have ever returned a dish or beer. I enjoy cask ales and seasonals regularly which are fresh and the menu items are well made.

The variety of lagers and ales is good at LBC, I wish there were more beers on tap sometimes, but what is offered is consistent and done in the traditional style. I enjoy the pub selection on the menu and Oyster shooters w/ tabasco and porter are great.

The value is very good for what you get, I like the dollar off growlers and vulture buffet. This is one of the breweries I live closest to and I like the fact they don't dissapoint. I will continue to come to LBC for local flavor. The Pittsburgh steak salad really hit the spot as well as the chicken quesadilla appetizer.

Visiting the restaurant at the brewery for lunch/dinner on a Sunday afternoon.

The atmosphere is cool, rustic/industrial, exposed brick and steel beams that appear to be original to the building. Also a bar area and a smal merch area behind the attendant stand, and I think there was a porch.

They had 14 beers on tap, and you can order a sampler of them all. All of their regulars, a few seasonals and specials. A wide variety of styles, so you could definitely find a style you like. However most of the beers were just "okay". Probably the Milk Stout and Hop Buggy were the tops.

Food was good - I had the Steak Frites, which was great. Service was good - only complaint is that our calamari appetizer came out to the table after our entrees.

Stopped by here for dinner and to try a few of their brews. Right off the bat, you'll notice their parking lot is pretty small and if it's full, you have to find on-street parking like we did, which we luckily found close by. Once inside, we were told about the parking across the street after we were seated. Some signage would've been nice. Oh well, nothing a few beers can't fix.

Our server was prompt, knowledgable and friendly. I defaulted to their IPA and was not disappointed. Not the greatest but certainly drinkable. The wife tried the lager and the daughter the Celtic Rose. The lager was decent but we all agreed that the Celtic was not what we expected.

Our food order was taken promptly, and we were served piping hot meals that were appealing to the eye and very tasty. We had two pizzas that were both very good and quite filling.

Overall we were pleased with the experience, enjoyed the food and atmosphere and would certainly return again.

Cheers!
