Arrived in a 10-oz sample sized glass. Light golden liquid with a finger of white foam that disappeared leaving no lace. Plenty of effervescence.

Smell was faint cooked corn, grains, biscuit. Taste quite similar with adjunct qualities apparent, corn, cereal grain. Medium light body with strong carbonation. Finishes clean. Nothing here to get excited about, nothing off-putting, a middle of the road adjunct lager.

24oz can
Served in a perfect pint glass

A - It pours a clear golden color. It is topped with two inches of white head the settles to a skim.

S - It has a sweet, grainy malt aroma.

T - There is not much going on here. I get some of that sweet grainy flavor reflected from the aroma.

M - Thin

O - You could tell me this is a Budweiser, and I wouldn't know the difference.

Golden yellow appearance with thin bubbly head that quickly settles down leaving no lacing. Smell consists of corn, grain, grass and some sweetness. Fairly light overall.

Taste is similar to the smell, consists of corn, grain and bread 2
with some sweetness, adjuncts and grass. Light overall, but good blend of favors. Light bodied with moderate carbonation. After taste is a lingering sweet corn taste.

This is an alright adjunct lager, not very complex but still tasty and refreshing. I recommend if your in Mexico or its over 30C.

I cracked this open—and ended up using it to cook with.

This pours real easily with a crayon golden-yellow color and a lot of fizzy foam that disappears in an instant. The aroma even when fresh is musty, like your typical corn adjunct lager. Flavor? What flavor? Any flavor to speak of is a light, light sweet corn malt lager that rapidly fades. A bit smoother than I expected. Still, no reason to drink unless its free—and even at that…

From 03/31/12 notes. Had on tap at Los Tios in Alexandria, VA alongside some awesome Mexican food. Served in a 12 oz. pint glass.

a - Pours a somewhat transparent golden-yellow color with one inch of fluffy white head and moderate carbonation evident.

s - Smells of grains, corn, bread, and some light earthy notes. Not too bad, but pretty bland.

t - Tastes of grains, sweet corn, bread, biscuit, and light fruit. A slight step up from the nose.

m - Light body and moderate carbonation. Easy to drink.

o - Overall not a great beer but a much better alternative for Mexican beer than Corona and Corona light. I like the normal Negro Modelo better than this, though this is a lighter beer. Not bad but a bit bland. Not worth seeking out but worked with some Mexican food and would go to over the Corona's.

Light golden color, clear. Lots of small bubbles rising. Very nice foamy head that stick around for a while.

Sweet corn and cereal grain.

Sweetness up front. Sweet corn (Corn pop like), cereal, just a dash of grass. Slight crisp dryness towards the finish.

Clean, dry and crisp body. A little heavier than most adjunct lager.
