Pours a dark straw yellow with not much of a white head. The smell is pretty dull with not much going on, some malt and grainy smell. The taste is lackluster (without a lime), minimal grainy flavor, with an odd aftertaste. The mouthfeel is not the best, bad flavor balance (for what is there), and not very smooth for how watered down it tastes. The best quality is that this one is a very easy drinker because the lack of flavor, can put a few of these down on a hot day.

So I figured I'd help contribute to the beer reviewing community by reiterating the general consensus about this brew. I had one kicking around, and I want the bottle cap for the collection.

This is a very pale beer. It is a very light straw colour with hardly any head to speak of.

The aroma is less skunky than I remember, though the skunk smell is still there. Wet, sweetish grains dominate the aroma. Not entirely displeasing, but not especially appetizing.

The wet grain flavour is what dominates. There isn't a whole lot going on in this beer. It's very watery. I'm left with some acidity from the carbonation that leads to a slightly astringent taste.

Overall, I'm not as down on this beer as i used to be, but I'm not going to buy one any time soon. I might even refuse it, but I can see why people drink it: because they have no real taste for beer.

I've had Corona several times before, but I decided to try a little experiment. I work at a store that sells it and I wanted to buy a bomber out of a freshly opened box. Most of the Corona I've had has been light struck pretty badly, so I thought maybe the beer would be slightly better if I had been exposed to minimal light.

Appearance: Poured a golden yellow with about 1/2 a fingers worth of head. The head dissipates rapidly and leaves almost nothing behind, no lacing to speak of.

Smell: I have to nearly stick my nose into the beer to get a faint grain smell.

Taste: Not much here. The smallest inkling of hop bite towards the end. Still a little bit of that Corona skunk in there as well.

Mouthfeel: Highly carbonated and as thin as water.

Drinkability: I can put about a 6'er of these back and just catch a buzz. It does go down pretty easy, like carbonated water.

In closing this bottle was actually slightly better than most of my experiences with Corona. It was definitely less skunked. But for the price there are a myriad of better options out there.

Corona. No introduction needed. Side poured with standard speed from a bottle into a pint glass.

Appearance – Very pale golden yellow with a couple bubbles on top which are supposed to resemble the head. Minimal lacing.

Smell – The nose honestly reminds me of urine that hasn’t quite soaked all the way into the carpet yet. Skunky with a mild grain hint

Taste – Slight malt hints, corn and grain, very similar to your standard American Adjunct lagers. I hear the flavor is enhanced with a slice of lime, but I’m not one to fruit a beer.

Mouthfeel – Thin, mostly water, slammable. The finish tastes sort of like the smell.

Overall – A good beer for hanging out at the beach, giving to girls with a slice of lime in it, very summertime-esque. It’s not a good beer, but the advertising and general attitude towards the beer are fun I guess.

330ml bottle.Enjoyed directly from the bottle many times in many countries since 1981.Pale light straw yellow.Cristal clear.Poor crown,no retention, white foam.Grainy slightly malty aromas.Tasting & mouthfeel are bland.Light bitterness, light body, watery.Notes: So do what you have to do:put a couple of lime or lemon wedges into the bottle & make sure it is at a low temperature in a hot sunny day...then could be easy drinkable.Nevertheless, avoid hot meals or over carbonation is gonna bother you.I promise.

Ehhh... It sucks. It's basically fermented Mexican piss.

You can somewhat enjoy it with a lemon. But even with the taste of lemon in it I give it a poor rating.

It's not as bad as other mainstream beers such as budlight and coors light. But i wouldn't suggest drinking this at all.

If you want a light mainstream beer then drink Stella Artois!
