A: pale, fully translucent, no head, no lacing
S: faint barley
T: faint, mild barley, a bit papery
M: thin, slight carbonated bite
O: weak, thin, not offensive, just not good. So weak and watery this was difficult to review, because there's so little depth and few characteristics This is my 58th beer review, and only my first "typical" beer. Brutal.

This is the only beer, with rare exception, that i choose to drink from the bottle. I guess it's because the slice of lime fits so well in the neck of the bottle.

I drink this beer from time to time even though i have much superior beers to choose from. Many beer geeks on this site will go out of their way to talk down about Corona to legitimize their "beer geek" status. But in reality, there's nothing wrong with a Corona with lime, for me anyway, after working the second shift on a Saturday.

This beer, along with Miller Genuine Draft, were my mainstays in the years after college. When cold to the point of slushing up, this beer is refreshing like none other. It's a perfect pairing with a chicken pot pie hot out of the oven.

Bud Light Lime doesn't do it for me like Corona with a slice of lime. This beer goes down so easy. This is my third and it's as good as my first. Cheers !!

Disclamer: This beer is actually good with a slice of lemon, or lime, but that isn't the way beer is supposed to be.

A: The beer is very clear, light gold. There are many bubbles on the glass, and the bubbly head quickly recedes with no lacing.

S: There is a little bit of cereal malt hints and a lot of adjunct sweetness.

T: It wasn't as skunked as I thought it would be, but still, the only taste is some adjunct sweetness.

M: It is quite thin.

D: It is too adjunct and carbonated.

Feel free to enjoy this with a slice of lemon, or lime, but don't make it your #1 beer.

Pours a clear golden straw color with a fizzy white head. It surprisingly leaves a little lacing.

Smells of husky grains and light, floral hops.

Taste follows the smell, light grain flavor and even lighter floral hop bitterness. Light on the palate and very refreshing.

Despite the bad rap this south of the border brew gets, its still my favorite macro and definitely has its time and place. I usually drink it straight from the bottle and yes *gasp*, I use a lime. Yummy.

It really says something about a beer when you have to put a lime in it to make it drinkable. I'm altogether impressed with Mexico and other South American countries when it comes to beer; Bohemia and Modelo Negro are considerably good. But Corona... what the hell is Corona? "Mexican monkey piss" is the best moniker I've heard to date.

There's something about Corona that makes me feel dirty when I drink it. Don't ask, but it's enough to prevent my from buying it under my own free will.

Surprisingly, this beer pours a decent-sized head.. I wasn't expecting that, since if I have to drink this stuff, I drink it straight from the bottle. I don't like to think much about the color of this beer, since it reminds me of urine. The smell is really not very appetizing.. I'm not sure how to describe it, but its not pleasant. This beer really doesn't like much of anything, but it is often fairly skunky. It really tastes MUCH better with a lime in it. As for mouthfeel, it's light-bodied, but leaves a bad aftertaste. It's actually pretty drinkable, unless you prefer beer that actually tastes like something. The main thing I dislike about this beer is how expensive it is, yet its not exactly something of great quality.

I believe this was the first beer I ever drank.

They come in a pale at the local burrito shop. If you shove a slice of lime down the neck they taste a bit better. Its a fizzy yellow liquid. There isn't a whole-lotta taste.

Guilty pleasure. Goes great with spicy Mexican food.
