Served with a wedge of lime.

Appearance- Pours a clear golden yellow with a half a finger width of bubbly head that quickly recedes.

Smell- Corn, grains, skunkiness. Not much else to the smell.

Taste- Not really much to this one. You get the corn, grains, and water. The lime wedge helps to give this beer a boost.

Mouthfeel- Light bodied with moderate carbonation. A touch watery but not as watery as other macros.

Overall- A standard adjunct lager. Nothing special in terms of flavour. A patio or beach beer at best (this is what this beer is known for). Thank heaven for the creation of limes to make this brew a tad better.

Pours a very pale yellow color with a fizzy head that goes to nothing in minutes and no lacing. Aroma is of a typical macro beer with corn, and some hops with a skunky odor that is hallmark of the brand. Taste is also a bit skunky, but the lime and salt definitely helped cover it up. Very thin and highly carbonated but slightly refreshing on a hot sunny day.

Haven't had Corona in a long time. Disappointing, now that I've been experimenting with a greater variety of beers.

Often for meals, I'll drink a table beer ... e.g. Bud Light, Miller Light, Miller 64. These are cheap, low calorie, refreshing beers.

Hence my calibration for Corona. Can't say that Corona had any additional taste, character, etc. over these less expensive (and less calorie) beers.

**Got this in the Familiar bottle**

After looking through the web, it looks like this is Extra in different packaging. The brown glass should make this beer taste less skunky...

Popped off the cap of the 32oz bottle, and poured the brew into a one liter German stein. This makes about a three finger thick bright white head, and the body is pale straw in color with perfect clarity.

The aroma is typical astringent grainy huskiness, with a hint of cardboard. A little metallic quality from the hops with some lemon zest.

The taste is muted quite heavily. Just some grains and corn husk, with a light papery kind of flavor.

Thin in body, but good to quench the thirst with. The packaging may throw some people off, but this is just regular Corona.
