Drank from a cold 12oz. bottle.

A- see-thru light straw color. Head, lacing, who knows? I drank it right from the bottle. After the lime wedge goes in it looks - inviting.

S- some kind of faint grain aroma with a hint of alcohol. Skunky like a pilsner for a brief moment until the lime wedge eliminates that.

T- Yummy, in a lack of pronounced flavor kind of way. Hey, it's the lime and the fact that it is a beer that holds up to ice cold temps. OK, there's a little corn and malt grain taste trying to hide.

M- wet and cold with good carbonation. Silky, so easy to drink by the bunch.

O- I know, I'm going against the grain here, so to speak, but I like what I like. And I liked Corona 30+ years ago when I first had it, and I still do, lime and all.

True to the old saying "the lesser of two evils," I picked this over Coors Light at a friend's house.

Color is a pale golden and there is about a half finger of head to the pour. It smells like a small critter died inside the bottle. Pretty tasteless except for the annoying corn syrup sweetness that lingers on the finish.

Club soda would make a winning choice over this beer.

Update: The fashion of placing a lime in the Corona bottle actually works to some degree. I found myself, once again, drinking Corona at a friend's house. This time I drowned the darn thing in lime juice which actually made it palatable.

Drunk straight out of the bottle.

The clear bottle allowed me to see the clear pale yellowness of this beer. Nothing really impressive.

I could smell the overpowering skunk as soon as I popped the cap. It really smelled completely rotten and unappealing.

The taste was even worse. Like dirty skunky water. This was accompanied by a nasty tartness and odd bitterness that I was not expecting. I honestly could not finish the beer and had to pour it out.

Overall, this is probably the worst beer I have had and that is saying something. Don't know if I got a bad bottle or what but I really don't see how people drink this stuff. Horrid.

Bottle code: AA22CO49; Poured in a pint glass.

A - Thin layer of white carbonated head that disappears after several seconds; Pale gold in color; Crystal clear appearance with visible carbonation; Spotty lacing left behind

S - Lots of grains and that familiar adjunct aroma - cooked vegetables and a bit skunky; No real hop presence

T - Wheat, grains and corn with a very pale sweetness; No skunky presence in the taste like there is in the nose; Faint presence of hops and bitterness

M - High level of carbonation that provides some burn; Light bodied - basically as light as water; Crisp mouthfeel

O - As with most adjunct lagers, this beer doesn't bring a great smell or taste. However, when served ice cold, some of this becomes masked and tolerable. An ice cold temperature is the key though as this beer is pretty tough to drink otherwise.

A: Some one could have urinated in the bottle ad I would not have known. Incredibly pale and clear yellow.

S: Smells like wet grass.

T: Tastes like watered down Miller or Coors. Slightly sweeter with more skunk. No flavors standout.

M: High carbonation.

O: I have no idea why someone would spend the money for something that tastes worse than other adjunct lagers. Clear bottle ruins and little flavor that might have been there.
