Not much to honestly say about corona. I gave the smell it a low score due to it lack of smell. To me it tastes like budweiser and budlight. Corona will always be one of my go to beers though. (192 characters)

I'd somehow avoided drinking one of these until last Friday night when it was all that was in the green room at a work event. Just the worst. I couldn't even finish the can. (173 characters)

Didn't know whether to rate with or without lime, but then I realized that it really didn't matter.

From notes/memory: Pale as wee, smells faintly of wee, tastes like west Texas water that has not been processed through a reverse osmosis system, mouthfeel of water. (267 characters)

My favorite everyday beer. It's got a lot of flavor for a lighter beer. It's refreshing, has a clean after-taste, and is not as watered down as other American Lagers. (168 characters)

A light, fuzzy, mild flavored beer.
If the bottle isn't properly stored it can get a foul smell, otherwise it ain't got a lot of smell.
the taste is not strong, refreshing as a beverage but not as enjoyable as a beer. (217 characters)

Quick review. Bright & light with mild maltiness. Mild everything, really. Despite lacking in terms of depth of flavor, I love how crisp & refreshing a nice cold Corona can be. (179 characters)

Looks tasty and golden. But the bottle being clear messes up the taste and smell. It smells like a skunk and it tastes like one. Only redeemable with a lime. (157 characters)

Only g̶o̶o̶d̶ *drinkable* with a lime
Clear bottle makes the beer skunk fast in the sun (beach is where majority are consumed)

This beer is good in one way and one way only. It has to be 90+ out, super sunny day, sitting near water (beach, pool, river, lake, etc.), the beer must be ice cold, and you have to have a lime wedge shoved into the bottle. No glass. Must be from the bottle. In a moment such as this one though, it is a very refreshing beverage to have.

Would purchase again, but ONLY in this scenario. (387 characters)

Any beer that requires a lime wedge or salt added to it (or anything else for that matter) isn't worth the time. If a tall corn stalk could take a piss, it would smell and taste like Corona. (191 characters)

From the bottle with a lime (traditional, right). What's to say about the Look - it's light golden. Smell is citrusy on a hot day at the beach, the only place I drink it, and the taste is smooth and refreshing with the lime. Smooth - medium bodied with a pleasant taste. Overall best for a hot day at the beach. (312 characters)

This is overpriced crap. The only way I can enjoy one of these is when it's ice cold and with a lime wedge, which covers up the bad flavor. Tastes like urine when served normally. This has no business being as expensive as it is. I'd rather drink Keystone Light than this overrated swill. (288 characters)

A: Crystal Clear

S: Skunky skunk-a-rama. Also, corn. And more skunk

T: Better be ice cold with lots of lime. Otherwise - yikes.

M: Carbonated and water like

O: If it is hot, you're on a beach, and someone is giving this away, go for it. If it is any other scenario, why are you drinking it? (294 characters)

Clear straw color. Barely no head, lasting 30 seconds. Average legs and activity.

Faint sweet aromas and flavors of corn, syrup, citrus, slightly skunky and metallic.

Light body with prickly carbonation. Short and weak smoky finish.

Overall : Faint flavors but good freshness. The sugar is good and does not feel artificial like most macro brands. (351 characters)

Purchased at the LCBO for around $2.40 for a tall boy. Served at 4deg C in a draught glass.

A- Opens well and pours a medium head that is gone in seconds. Very light gold and clear

S- Nice sweetness here. Some hops some malt but sugar sweet

T- Very sweet corn beer plain and simple. Nothing special but nice blend to get that sickly sweetness out of what could be a bad beer

M- Dry but sticky sweet

O- Nice hot weather beer. Light and airy. Not great but nice

Food Pairing

This nice little beer went well with..... Fried smelts

Enjoy (542 characters)

S: Mild smell, skunky notes.

T: Fresh, low bitterness very little flavour.

F: Light body, low carbonation.

O: Beer for the general public, not for beer lovers. It´s good for mixing. (254 characters)

If you have to add something to mask the bad taste, then it sucks. that being said, ice cold with a wedge of fresh lime, this is hard to beat on a hot summer day. Take the lime and hot summer day away, I prefer piss warm chango (228 characters)

What's my excuse? Well, I went to a barbecue joint and they only had three types of beer: Corona, Bud Light, and Budweiser. Perhaps I should've gone with the Bud., but this was OK, too. Here goes:

A: Yellow but well-carbonated. No head or lacing.

S: Corn and....corn.

T: Follows the nose.

F: Pretty good. Nicely carbonated and fizzy.

O: Avoid this beer. Nice mouthfeel can't make up for everything else. (420 characters)

Even when I was a youngster and didn't know any better, i still never pick this beer. The only reason i did a rating is to have a accurate list of beers I've had. I get sad looking at the bottle.lol (198 characters)

Less offensive than Budweiser, Coors, Miller or Bush. But let's put it this way -- if Corona isn't a drunk Mexican's piss in a bottle, it sure as hell tastes like it. The fact that people only seem to drink this beer with plenty of lime or lemon juice added is a testament to how undrinkable this beer truly is. (313 characters)

I remember the first time I saw a girl nekkid. I was glistening with joy and excited about the fruits I was about to partake of. After it was over I thought to myself that was the greatest thing ever. Then i met a real woman and saw her nekkid and she blew my mind and I totally forgot about the first girl. Well Corona is the first nekkid chick I saw. Forgettable (365 characters)

Years ago I was down in Mexico City. A couple of brothers like to race cars on the weekend, and they took me out to a race track way out past Pachuca. All the racers were just weekend warriors. One guy just took some duct tape and pasted a number on the door of his street car. That was the vehicle he raced in. The brothers had some higher tech and despite being sidelined having to replace a gasket, they still got second that day.

I remember the hot August sun beating down on us, and what was probably the least attractive girl in all of Mexico that they fixed me up with. But all the Mexicans were drinking Coronas. I figured, hey, when in Rome....

On a hot day, a cold Corona is a beautiful sight with that golden color and the sweat beads collecting on the bottle. It's not heavy. It's not a designer beer. It's not an IPA, but it's got a great taste and it's perfect for quenching a thirst built up in the August Mexican sun. (944 characters)

Corona has its place - best enjoyed while floating around on something inflatable, with a slice of lime jammed into the neck. Sampling this beer from a glass was strange. It is no better or worse that your usual macros. Suited for quenching thirst - end of story. (263 characters)

So I am not afraid to say that I truly enjoy a corona with lime on a hot summer day! With that said - I tried it without a lime and it was really tough to drink. Skunky, murky and strange. I will continue to drink it in the summer at times but it makes me wonder what the lime is covering up… I would give it a 3.25 overall with the lime but I am trying to just rate the beer here and I think I may have been generous ;) (426 characters)

Reviewed at long last, one of several consumed over the Christmas break in Cabo San Lucas. An embarrassing previous staple of mine and the sort of thing you want to kick someone for daring to drink here, yet loaded with nostalgia and primed via years of social conditioning that says "skunked corn actually tastes GOOD"! Everyone knows the color but for posterity's sake its bright yellow and has pretty minimal white fizz rimming the glass. Smells like creamed corn seasoned with a nondescript apple-like fruitiness due to under-aging with a dash of skunky marsh vegetation. True to form, I do find this to be the corniest of the mainstream Mexican fizz parade, with corn bread and DMS cooked veggie flavors running the show. Sweeter and breadier than Pacifico with subtle apple and citrus notes. Some people claim they can taste a hint of lime in this even without the iconic wedge added. Sure, although its probably a mirage. I'd actually say the carbonation is moderate. Thin, watery, and finishes predictably sweet with a bare hint of grass. The corn and skunk elements do add some character than is missing from American examples of the style (but see my above remark about conditioning. Don't mistake this preference for "good beer"). Most people pay little attention when drinking this but I suggest you do so, for educational purposes if nothing else. Skip the lime too, at least once. (1,395 characters)
