Straw pour with thin white head which disappeared quickly; no cap, but good carbonation. Corn muffin nose. Dull corny taste. Thin watery mouthfeel. Overall, not much of anything here...beverage greatly enhanced by adding the lime wedge...

Drank from the clear bottle.
Hazy pee-yellow in color, and smells not too much better than it looks. I couldn't smell anything from it aside from it being a poor smelling beer. Decently carbonated, and not much a flavor. Not tasteless like some beers, but not so oddly enough, its taste reminds me of what I think it looks like might taste like.
In terms of what I like, it's not the worst cheap beer out there, but it is anything but good.

This beer is flavorful for a person who is not much of a beer drinker. As a graduate of sissy & light beers, I'd pimped this out with the traditional lime. Of course to my liking, a splash if bloody mary mix, but not necessary.

Any beer that needs salt, limes, sugar, etc... to make it taste decent is just not worth it in my opinion. This is definitely the bottom of the barrel when it comes to beer. This beer company has one hell of a sales and marketing department, which is the only positive thing I can say about Corona.

Pours clear yellow. Almost no head which disappears immediately. No lacing. Very little aroma. Smooth withour a very distinctive flavor. Easy drinking and refreshing. This beer is not too bad although it lacks character.

It's not that bad.. It's better than Budweiser, it's better than Coors, and PBR and really all of the Tier Zero beers besides Heineken. And like.. Coronaritas! Corona may be light and tasteless and vile but combine it with sugar and citrus and tequila and it ain't half bad! Just give it a chance boys, it's a classic.

This was a surprisingly drinkable AAL. Nothing about it was great; in fact, nothing about it was all that good. However, it wasn't nearly as bad as the majority of the field (Bud, Miller, etc.).

Still, if you're drinking this, you likely know exactly what to expect.

Skunk is present. The skunk is not too overwhelming. Moosehead is way skunkier. Golden piss yellow. Fruity smell and i get some honey. Well Balanced. Light crisp refreshing. The malts and hops are balanced. Corona is not the best Mexican beer, but i prefer it over Modelo. Tecate, Bohemia, and Carta Blanca are the best Mexican lagers. Cheers!

Pours as golden as you can see it through the clear glass is comes in. Outside of the look there isn't much to this beer. If limes didn't exist people wouldn't drink this beer. Even a slight rise in temperature and this beer becomes almost undrinkable.

From bottle, Pale golden color, clear liquid and minimal head. Light malty aroma. On the palate it is very refreshing and light. Good lager for the summer.

A tad more pleasant than Budweiser, which isn't saying much..
Add the lime, the incessant marketing (aka conditioning) will actually make you think you are enjoying a refreshing beer (not).

Was offered one by a fishing buddy while out on the boat.

I obliged.

From the bottle out of an ice chest at ~39F.

Tasted like anti freeze mixed with cheap malts and stale hops.

Then I come to find out that Corona actually contains propelyne glycol. Yes folks that is the scientific name for anti freeze.

FYI-Glycols are toxic substances to the human body according the US Center For Disease Control.

But for some reason the FDA allows distillers and macrobrewers to use these toxic substances in our food supply.

Glycols are also responsible for lowing testosterone in men and women. In women causing ovarian cancer and turning men into liberal pansies with no heart.

No thanks Corona. Your beer tastes like shit.

This beer is not terrible, especially in the summer. It's just not as good as the craft beers out there. But I would take it over bud or miller anytime. However, there are so many beers to try that are far better. If you have the options, spend a couple extra bucks and try a different beer. Its worth it.

I appreciated this beer only because it is hot in merida Mexico in the summer and it does the work of cooling one off. It feels refreshing, hence the high mouthfeel rating, which in this case is simply a bodyfeel rating. I would only buy it again under similar circumstances, which may happen again soon.

Of beers that are available nearly anywhere, Corona is one of the best, if not the best. Coronas are meant to be drank in social gatherings such as parties or in a bar with a bunch of friends. You buy Corona because its cheap, available nearly anywhere, and tastes better than its peers. Do not compare this beer to craft or expensive not easily accessible beer. Compare this beer to Budweiser, Coors, Miller, Heineken, etc.

Seeing this beer rated so low overall makes me assume that it's resulting from comparing this beer to the best beers out there. That's not a good idea. Overall, I'd call it better in quality than most general American beers (Bud, Miller, Coors, etc.) and very refreshing on a hot day.

Poured from a 12oz bottle into a Mikasa pilsner glass. Pours with a fingers worth of white foam that dissipates to a half fingers worth within a minute. Plethora of bubbles for that first minute then they become mild. Very mild lacing. Pale golden color. Very strong chemical aromas (like cleaning products without the pleasant floral scents that are usually added to make them smell good) with strong adjunct malt aromas (more rice than anything else) and a hint of sugar sweetness. Initial taste strongly reciprocates that chemical odor, however, rice malt flavors immediately follow and overpower the chemical flavors making this lager bearable. Slight sugary notes follow up adjunct malt flavors to give it a somewhat pleasant ending. Carbonation is so strong that it practically burns the tongue (or is it the mystery chemical that's the culprit???). Meduim-bodied and has a crisp finish that strangely quenches my thirst. I have to admit that this is my guilty pleasure beer. A definite go to when I go to non-craft beer bars. Don't judge me. Y'all have your guilty pleasure beers, too.

A: Crystal clear, golden straw color, thin white head, spotty lacing

S: Adjunct grains, slight lager yeast smell, light hop

T: Skunkyness, sweet adjunct grains, slight hop bitterness

F: Light, fizzy carbonation, crisp, dry

O: This is one of my more favored adjunct lagers. I tend to gravitate toward this style as the weather warms because of price, availability, and they are just great to wet the whistle after a run or mowing the grass, also wonderful out on the boat.

12oz bottle into pint glass (bottle taken out of boxed case), NO lime added

Appearance - Pale straw, crystal clear, no trace of head whatsoever but a very slight ring of foam around the edge. A few carb bubbles spring to the surface just to let you know this is probably not urine.

Smell - Offensive skunky/funky right off the bat, which is puzzling since this came from a boxed case. Kind of spicy and metallic, a bit green and vegetal. Faint biscuity and fruity notes are desperately trying to surface to save face.

Taste - A bit better than the smell, actually: very watery and the skunk + vegetal notes lead the way, but aren't as offensive as the nose. Not much going on here - but wayyy back in the distance there is a Pils-like biscuity/fruity note that is sort of pleasing, but unfortunately there is also some twangy grainy and metallic notes with it. Finishes dry with very minor astringent bitterness.

Feel - Light bodied and very watery, snappy carb keeps this from feeling like tap water. Fairly refreshing when ice cold, nonetheless.

Overall - This was the first Corona I've had in about 12 years I think, and frankly it's just as bad as I remember it being. Skunky, grainy, metallic, watery... Simply a poor beer with too few redeeming qualities. Of course it got worse as it warmed, but I suppose if you slam it fast it'd be fairly inoffensive. It's pretty easy to see why everyone adds a lime wedge to this stuff. And on a closing note, how the Hell was this beer skunked coming out of a sealed carboard box?! I may never know.

It currently has a 56, I can't imagine how. It's practically flavorless and unless you buy a 12 / 24 pack (in the box) it's probably skunked by the time you get home. Deserves a score much, much lower.

There are a million worse beers and a million better beers. Outstandingly marketed so that you think you should buy it if you're going to the beach. Decent with the fruit wedge, lousy alone.

This is the Mexicans version of "fosters" no one drinks it in its country of origin and for good reason.
tastes like camel urine and isn't what id want for a sustain-er or even a quick beer to cool me off.

Poured into a pilsner glass. In the past 5 months I have had Chimay Red, Rochefort 6, 8 and 10, Westvleteren XII, Three Philosophers, KBS, BBA Narwhal, Heady Topper, 120 Minute IPA and bunch of other world class brews. That said, this is actually not that bad, but also not that good either. It's a bit watery, but still has a little malt flavor. Sort of grainy and sweet. Really bubbly on the tongue. Actually looks pretty nice in a glass. I understand why this is a popular summer beer. Nothing offensive here, just nothing to write home about. I've definitely had worse.
