Pours clear copper brown, with a very thin head that vanishes is a flash of an eye. Smelled a little acidic with no real appealing aromas. The tast was nothing really to note, very thin on flavors. Maybe some sweetness from malt or baley. No hops that I noticed. Very thin, watery going down. It was drinkable, after a 12 hour workday, and free. It looked better than it tasted, the bottle is nice enough, unique shape and gold lettering, but that's about it. I know not to buy it.

Poured from a bottle into a Sam Adam's Perfect Pint.
Appearance - brown and bubbly like soda; builds a creamy off-white head. Lacing is beautiful!
Smell - some stone fruit along with sweet candy malts.
Taste - expected more flavor based on the nose. A bit bland and light.
Feel - light body, very carbonated; comes off a bit watery.
Overall - revisiting this after discovering someone left three of these in my fridge. This is actually much better than I remember, but still only an average beer.

look: 3.5 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 4 | overall: 3.5

Light/medium bodied, clear reddish brown color with a decent off-white head and even leaves a bit of lacing..

There is a very slight aroma of sweet malt and a trace of hops.

Taste is mainly sweet malt, corn and a little caramel. Smooth, mellow, very easy to drink, with just a touch of hops at the end.

Crisp and refreshing.

A Mexican “dark beer”, almost transparent, with an extremely deep red color, no head, and fairly carbonated but thin bubbles. Appears a little thick but drinks very thin. Has a faint sugar and nut nose, the bitterness is slightly softened. Has an earthy flavor that is slightly nutty, and a roasted malt without the typical sugar or coffee tones. Some slight hop taste. Easy to drink with not muc of a mouthfeel. Its probably low in alcohol and goes very well with spicy food, but thats about all with it. Try this instead of Corona when you're across the border.

A: Amber/brown color with a 1 finger fizzy white head that dissipates pretty quickly.

S: Some bready malts, not much else.

T&M: Some decent caramel malt sort of flavor with a sharp carbonation kick at the end. Hops come in at the very beginning but then quickly fade away. Mouthfeel is thin, however the carbonation helps to keep it fulfilling. Overall, not bad - much better than the macros of the US.

D: Very drinkable. It's not a bad beer, and this one is easy to session.

For what is ultimately a macro, this is not a bad effort.

Poured a transparent brown with a white head.

The smell was sweet, yeasty and malty.

The taste is pretty much the same as the smell. There's plenty of malts, it also has a lager taste to it.

The mouth feel is light with medium carbonation.

Overall not too bad often the best beer at a mexican resteraunt, much better than corona.

Appearance: Dark amber/not-quite-brown in color, some head but with little retention. Some lacing.

Smell: Clean and lagery, surprisingly light on aroma considering the color alone. Mild malt?

Taste: Sweet caramel and enough hops bitterness to balance and fit the style. Not objectionable in the least. Who would put a lime into this?

Mouthfeel: Fairly light body, good carbonation.

Drinkability: Not bad at all, and given the choices on the menu, this was probably the best choice - and fit the theme of the restaurant, too, but not something I'd choose to buy in another context.

A: Very nice and dark, decent head and lace retention
S: Not impressed, but wait
T: After I smelled this beer, I was so glad to taste it and discover that this beer is incredible
MF: Nice, light-ish body, clean finish, slightly bitter
D: Highly drinkable

For being cheap and readily available all over the US, I guarantee you will run into this beer, and when you do, buy it, you wont be disappointed
