Chocolate and Burgundy wine nose.
light bodied but has a nice dark caramel color...lots of bubbles(carb)...taste is suprisingly good....Chocolate, a dark berry hint, then a lasting saltiness that takes away from the initial taste. Minimal lacing in a glass...little to no head.
this beer is hard to review because even though it has many questionable qualities it succeeds in that it tastes decent and it is very drinkable....better than any other ready avail. mex. beer. I found that ladies dig this brew...overall...decent

I vigorously poured into a pint glass to an inch of off white head that settled to a film on top. It is ruddy brown in color and crystal clear. It smells malty sweet with hints of toffee and caramel. It has a sweet toffee taste. It coats my tongue. It has a slight bready aftertaste. As far as any Mexican beer I have had this is probably towards the top. Of course, that was not much of a mountain to climb, more of a bump.

Salud!

This one of the better mass produced beers coming out of Mexico in my opinion

Appearance- A dark copper like amber. Nice head and lace.

Smell- A very sweet scent. Malt and candy tones.

Taste- Minimal hops bitterness. It is mainly a sweet beer that has some bread like flavor.

Mouthfeel- Average body not really thin or full.

Drinkability- Not a bad but I like this with Mexican food but I can chill and drink a few of this any time.

I've had this beer many times. A 6pack of 12oz bottle is around $6-7 I believe. I've never thought it was bad but never great. I pour this one into a my Beck's Stange to review.

Very loosely packed off white head of about an inch. Transparent dark ruby brown in color. Nice layer of retention. Modest lacing.

Aroma is of raw adjuncts; barley and grainy. Sweet caramel malts, brown sugar and molasses.

Taste is quite sweet and malty with the brown sugar and molasses taking the forefront.

Light to medium body with a pleasant level of carbonation. Smooth finish with sweet malts leading to a medium finish.

This is one of my favorite Mexican beers, which I guess doesn't say much, but it isn't bad and I'll certainly be drinking it again as my wife enjoys it and it makes its way to my fridge frequently.

Poured a ruddy brown, no haze at all. Off-white head formed and very slowly receded to lace. Smell is chocolate and caramel malts, hint of noble hops. Malty sweetness is very prevalent. The taste hits with chocolate malts at the beginning, then a bit of sweetness, and fades with a decent noble hop finish. Something isn't quite right with the hops, but I cannot put my finger on it. It isn't unpleasant, it's disconcerting; it's not right, but it isn't dead wrong, either. Just odd. Mouthfeel is smooth with a bit of dryness in the finish. Very drinkable. Will certainly wash down the dryest of chimichangas.
