Pours a hazy golden color with a nice looking head. Not much in the way of head retention or lacing though. Good color.
Tastes fresh and crisp. Most wheat beers really seem to get weighed down by all the suspended material, but Trout Slayer really does a nice job of being lightweight and easily drinkable.
I'm not really a huge fan of the American Wheat style, but this one I feel is a winner.
Bright hoppy flavors blend very nicely with the wheat, giving it almost a 'pilsner' style texture and zip to it.
An easy-drinking wheat beer, high quaffability and very sessionable. Will probably routinely pick some more of this up before barbecues this summer.

Appearance- Pours a two finger white head. Very carbonated. Color is bright yellow/gold like a adjunct lager.
Aroma- Not much here besides wheat and a little sweetness from the hops.
Taste-At the front some citrus hop and wheat are present. As it sits on the tongue some grain and bready malt shows up.
Mouthfeel- Clean and crisp. Light bodied
Overall- A solid beer that's perfect for the summer.
