Served in a pint with a cloudy, pale yellow with a full off-white head. Nose is sour and fruity. Tastes clean with a nice herbal hop profile, orange, orange peel, and lemon. A little spiciness is noted. Light to medium bodied and super-easy drinking.

Extra courtesy of hayesez; thanks buddy!

Pours a nice golden color with a solid white head.

Aroma is great; honey, floral, and zesty citrus.

Lemongrass, rustic floral/citrus note. Finishes clean with lingering honey and slight bitterness.

Overall; a simple yet solid interpretation of the saison, pretty impressed with the Montana version!

Had on tap tonight 7/1/12 at Manito Tap House, Spokane, WA.

Pours a translucent golden hue with a decent carbonation and minimal white head.

Nose; grains, yeast, and a touch of citrus.

Taste; pretty subdued actually. Notes of fresh grains, lemon peel, earthy bitterness/yeast and a lingering touch of citrus.

Overall; pretty yeast forward and rather grainy. Now that I am familiar with Biere de Garde, I would say this is a better interpretation of that style than the Saison...

HAd this on tap at a local fine beer establishment. Poured with a very frothy white foam that did disipate after a few minutes with enough residuals to lace the top of the glass. Faint floral aroma, and a light taste with hints of mild banana with the belgian malt. Not overly complex and did not sense any citrus. I rather enjoyed the beer and if you enjoy light Belgian beers you will like this one.

Growler picked up at Brewforia Meridian on the way home from work last night... Paid only $5 for the fill... pretty cool... Shared with Inflatablechair during a minor Saison tasting.

Poured into my Delerium goblet. short lived 1" head... decent lacing.. the brew is clear pale gold.

Mild phenols are the big player on the nose, but some grainy malt element also come through... pretty mild across the board.

Flavors are there for sure... lite pepper and hints of clove.. the pale malts are the player that pulls everything together... good phenols on the finish yet never are overbearing.... drinkable for days.. this would be a fantastic lawnmower brew where you actually want to TASTE your beer and not get hammered.

Body is a lite/medium with a good small bubble carbonation..

I've had a few conversations with a RB buddy about this beer.. he says it isn't any good... I say he is forgetting all about what summer Saisons are all about.. this is very interesting and still retains thirst quenching qualities... He is wrong.

Would I buy it often in bottles? Yep... In Boise's August furnace, definitely. I rarely reach for a pale ale anymore... this blows the doors off of most session brews for something I want during the Summer heat.

Big Sky... A marketing shift is needed.. There are TOO MANY random pale ales out there.. This Saison could sell much better.... IMHO.

Hazy dark yellow with a huge, pillowy thick bright white head.

Gigantic assertive perfumed esters; big sweet flowerly ripe stone fruit and the pleasant smell of big canuba wax. Blind you would identify this as Belgian, hands down. Tons of sweet floral tones.

Medium bodied but with great balance with just a bit too fizzy carbonation. Fresh, mouthfilling and leaves you wanting more.

Nice green, peppery and herbed spice flavors. Lots of different pepper qualties from green pepper and celery tones to white pepper. Big saison flavors with green herb hop finish.

This is a well made and what is sure to be a universally food friendly drink. Nice effort.

Cap comes off with a snakelike hiss. Pours a very light crystal yellow with a gigantic fluffy white head. Bubbly with decent head and retention.

Smells beligianesque with floral notes. A small amount of citrus and spice. It actually smells exactly like Hoegaarden only a bit less pungent. Looks like it too.

Tastes like the smell, with a touch of dryness and tart. Slightly fruity, complex taste. Nothing amazing but a good example of the style.

Bitter, dry mouthfeel, with nice carbonation to liven it up.

Drinkability is good.
