Pours a cloudy, maize color. 1/3 inch head of an off-white color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of floral hops, sweet malt, pale malt, slight citrus, hint of wheat, and a hint of grass. Fits the style of a Saison / Farmhouse. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of slight pale malt, slight citrus, hint of spice, slight yeast, hint of wheat, and hops. Overall, great appearance and decent body, but aroma is slightly off-putting.

Heavy carbonation off of the pour. Eggshell white foam. Light golden in color and it you get plenty of light coming through. I get some of the Saison yeast in the aroma, but it is quickly followed by a bit of corn. Adjuncts in a Saison = not cool. Mouthfeel is light and smooth. I don't get the trademark slickness of the Saison yeast. I actually get almost a faint bit of a flavor that is similar to coriander and it is pretty strong.

12oz bottle poured into a pint glass. Bottle code is 060131 061914, or something fairly close.
Pours clear yellow until the last bit of the bottle is poured in, when it becomes pretty hazy. Head is huge, almost disastrous, to the point where I couldn't pour the whole 12oz bottle into the pint glass. Head fades into huge peaks and valleys. Smell is apples and spicy, with lemons.
Taste is a bit of a letdown after the smell. Strange bitterness, dirty dishwater, a little bit of the apple and almost no tartness or sour.
Mouthfeel is thin and slick. Overall, it’s a decent beer.

T: Taste of citrus, fruit some banana, spices and some bread. Mild bitterness blended with tart. Fairly dry finish.

A: Light amber, a little hazy, a little bit of sediment swirling at the bottom of the tulip glass.
S: Some kind of grass or hay, not at all what I expected from a saison.
T: Sharp earthy bitterness that lingers but fails to make a point. Somewhat rude given what I expected from a saison. No character or complexity or if there was it was overwhelmed by the sharpness of the bitterness.
M: Thin, lacking the character I expected from the maltier, better examples of saison I've had.
O: Saison in 12oz bottles is a little hard to find so I was looking forward to this. Big letdown. I would not call this a saison but rather an APA and not a very good one at that. Not sure what I'm going to do with the other 5, I really don't want any more. Good this is a limited run.

Pours a nice dark golden color with a 3 finger head. Very frothy.
Smell is very hefe like. With lots of banana and grass.
I've never drank a Saison before so I wasn't sure what to expect. Taste is very spicy and peppery. Very strange complex after taste of spices and a little apple peal. Not very fun to drink. Nothing to offensive though.
Mouth feel is very watery. Not very smooth with it's weird after taste.
Probably won't be picking this up again. Would like to try more Saisons to see what the differences are.

pours a hazy golden with a massive white head. Smells like musty , earthy barns. Taste begins with a big pepper flavor. After that is some lemon, then wheat grain, and a tart, dry, citrus rind finish. Mouth feel is pretty good. Overall quite a good Saison.

On tap at Flagstaff Brewing Company. Color is a golden amber in the pint shaker, but not much of a head. The carbonation is pretty faint. There is a modest but decent aroma of roast malt with a hint of yeast.
The body is fairly thin but with a surprising malty mouthfeel. The main flaw is a plasticky taste. Overall this is very dry, though not with the Belgian flavors where the sweetness transforms itself into a dry finish. This is just very plain, with a browned biscuit taste dominating. I don't even taste anything like fruit, it just has the dry scrape with a little graininess. There are so many interesting Saisons from all over this is just not in the running.

The beer pours a dark yellow color with a big, billowing cap of foam. The aroma presents some decent grain aroma with a background of citrus. However, together with this, is a lingering off component, tending toward something like sourish vegetation---something that should be earthy has went awry. It's light on the palate as it should be, but the flavor profile follows the nose with some curious sourish notes. The sweetness of the grain brings some positive components, but it isn't enough to rescue the flaws. Something went off the rails while brewing this, which is a surprise, since the breweries year-round offerings are very good.

Pours out a light yellow color. Nice small form head very little lacing. It has a very strong citrus and hay smell great for summer. Mouthfeel was almost non-existent, the only flaw that bother me was the tast was incoherant for me. For only $6 dollars this was a decent beer great for hot summer days.

Pours a straw yellow color with a decent sized white head that stays around for a time.
Smells like hay, freshly mowed grass, and a hint of citrus.
Citrus starts out strong at first, then gets a bit grassy and finishes with a strong hops note. Leave a bit of lingering bitterness.
Feel is ok, can really feel the carbonation on the tongue.
Not a bad beer, but seems to not be very coherent. It could use a bit more balance and complexity to it, while refreshing, has a bit of an odd flavor note that keeps it from being one of the better examples of the style. I mainly bought this because i like the packaging and the label, but not one I'll be likely to have much more of in the future.
