Served from 750 ml bottle. Deep reds and a nice frothy head.
You get that smell immediately! Sweet. Yeast. Some apples, and I agree with others, some plum and berries in there.
Fruity taste, that may or may not overwhelm your tongue. Then the heavy alcohol comes in. You can't discount that, but the high content is effectively hidden in all the sweetness. This is one complicated, and well crafted beer!
Drinkability is questionable for me. Just SO strong on the alcohol front. Perhaps good for the end of an evening. This is not a "session" beer anyway. But, if you are sitting around with some friends, trying out some GREAT beers, this is certainly one of them.
