33 cl bottle served up at Brasserie Chapitre. Wonderfully beautiful label art of a vixenous elf drinking a mug of amber comes courtesy of Grégory Groves.

Pours a light brown with a bubbly khacki head that dissipates to steady 1/4 inch.

Aroma of pears, caramel, orange zest, and ginger.

Taste of plums, pears, hazelnuts, caramel, and banana.

Medium bodied with a spritzy carbonation. Well balanced.

Very drinkable. (429 characters)

Out of all of these weird caracole beers, this was by far the breadiest or biscuitiest if you want to call it that.

Beer is dark amber almost brown, clear with a tan head of small and medium bubbles, some lacing, some carbonation, low retention.

Aroma is yeast and malt, sweet, esters.

Beer is strong on the back half but absent in the front half. The biscuit nature of this beer goes well into an aftertaste. Unfortunately for it. Not my favorite out of these beers but it is decent. (487 characters)

After a long day of hiking around the "Island" in Holland on 29SEP11, I settled into a 0.33l bottle of this at my Youth Hostel in Liege, costing me €3.00.

Ambrosia was a medium to deep copper color, a touch cloudy, and with a thin, light beige, long-lasting head. Lacing in the glass was quite good, too. Aromas of both light and dark fruit filled the air. Medium in body, Ambrosia was fairly smooth, with just a light touch of prickle.

Light fruitiness was first detected, and it had a bit of tartness also. Seemed to have a little cherry floating around in there, adding some mild sweetness. The finish was mostly on the dry side, though. Not bad at all. Zum Wohl!!
