A: Light brown/copper color. This off white head. Thick and viscous. Decent slightly watery lacing.
S: Slightly off, sour smell. Maybe a bit of butterscotch without the sweetness. Not very aromatic.
T: The first thing that comes to mind is a slight butterscotch flavor that fades to a melon like sweetness. Some sourness too. Not extremely complex, but solid.
M: Carbonation wash on the outer edges of the tongue. Smooth and creamy center. Medium body.
D: Not a favorite of mine. Was interested to give it a try after seeing it won at the GABF. Not particularly sure of what to expect in the style, but either I am not a fan of the style or the beer. Despite my criticisms it's definitely drinkable and a decent brew.
Served: in a standard pint glass.
