S - Sweet malt, touch of smoked maple.
T - Mix between a lager and bock, sweet malt, that it.
M - Smooth, clingy.
O - Its just ok, I wouldnt get it again though.

Pours an orange-copper color with a light-tan head that vanishes into a thin, lace-free wisp. A sweet-smelling beer: caramel, over-ripe apples, prunes, some rum, yeast and bread. The taste is OK. Malty, brown sugar, roasted grains, a slightly mineral and oaken finish. It a bit more viscous than I like for double bocks, and the carbonation is subtle - just too syrupy for me. The alcohol is hidden nicely on the taste side. Not sure if I would search this one out again.

A - A very rich dark caramel color with a creamy half inch of head 1/4. Sort of sticky head. Not bad.
S - Sweet caramel with a mild medicinal cherry hint to it. Bready malts and little hops. It doesn't smell bad.
T - Pretty nice starts out with sweet caramel then the cherry pits followed by some bready malts and the finish has kind of a metallic note but fades after a few sips.
M - Kind of close to the style, drinkable yet not chewy. This high gravity version goes down smooth.

Overall this is one of the tastier offering I have had from Erie Brewing so I am glad I picked up the single for 3 bucks.
