Poured a pale gold color with a nice finger and a half of white head. Aroma was nice could be a bit bigger hop aroma but nice nose of both hops and malts. very nice initial malt back with a nice tingly floral and citrus hop finish. Nice crisp mouthfeel. Very drinkable IPA. Needs a little more nose but nice balance with malts complimenting the hops.

Erie,Pennsylvania is home to Erie Brewing company! At 6.5% abv not a high number of ibu's.
A- Deep gold. An srm of about 6. Tiny bit off white bright foam that last only for a couple seconds showing its low does of carbonation. Great lacing on the glass showing a good presentative beer.
S- Malty caramel nose. Use of possible pale malt and a little bit of crystal malt. Aromas of caramel fruit, a slight note of diacetyl, aromas of tropical citrus pine and resinous pine.
T- Up front (fungi form papillae) expect a smooth taste of sweet malt and a zesty spark of bitterness followed by (foliate papillae) a fruity and still malty coat overlapping the bitter character,. On the finish (circumvallete papillae) the malt fades away to make room for the lingering bitterness but still the bitterness dose not throw you back to you seat it's a very acceptable bitterness.
M- medium bodied, lightly carbonated, a low count of I I for an IPA making it easier to drink I the sun over the summer when you dangling your feet in the water of your swimming pool.fruity, malty and hoppy character makes it feel good on the palate and a great sessionability ( you can actually drink a six pack and be good or have about 3 and enjoy it)
O- overall it's not the best of the best (it's not Ccb jai Alia) but it's fruity and malty characters makes for great sessionability. The malty , fruity and hoppy characters play well on the diamond and play well all nine innings( baseball season is on people lets playyy ball!!!)
Food pairing- I paired this sucker with a pulled pork barbecue sandwich with coleslaw in it . It's was amazing as the bitterness went well with the smokiness and sweetness of the BBQ. As a side dish I had pork and BBQ baked Beens mixed and servedomg franking orgasm!
Cheers my friends don't forget to visit you home brew store to be part of the town brewers guild there is a lot of volunteer opertunities and chances to learn a bunch. Thanks guys

A fluffy yellow-tinted head rises to somewhere around a finger and a half in height and settles there, falling slowly and remaining tight, gaining density as it compacts without falling to much less than a finger. As it falls, chunky lacing sticks nicely to the glass, quite heavy in both volume and density. The brew itself is a clear brassy orange color with activity continuing throughout the session.
The smell is a range of mineral, grains, toast, biscuit, and herb. For an IPA, it doesn't have the hoppy backbone it should, but it's okay overall. Some earth and a minty note reminiscent of Amarillo sneaks in, though I don't think it's anything but C hops.
The flavor has more hops bitterness, albeit somewhat unrefined and pithy. Something reminds me of cottonwood. Grains linger underneath, and the mineral and toasty notes remain.
The body is medium and this beer is smooth, but crispness is soft to the point of almost going flat. It doesn't quite, and it fortunately keeps up for the duration, though the body seems to soften partway through.

Fresh Bottle poured into a pint glass. Very small amount of mostly white head that did not last very long in the glass. Very heavy malt scent and no real hop smell at all. Flavor from the drink is also very malty with a little bit of citrus in the aftertaste, but nothing up front and the citrus did not last the entire glass. It is a very clear orange color, nothing special. Very light and fairly smooth, just does not have a lot that I look for in an IPA. I would not turn one of these down, but I will not be buying it for myself any time soon.

Bottle > Pint Glass

A - Copper in color with one finger of off white fizzy head, little lacing
S - Not a whole lot of aroma goin on here, some caramel malt, a little grass, some light hints of dark fruit.
T - Taste is primarily malt, which is a mixture of biscuit, and caramel, there's a light pine bight to it.
M - Just ok, medium feel, but chewy and kinda coating.
O - Bad IPA, very malt focused, and missing the mark by a long shot

I poured this brew into my tumbler at 45 degrees. The beer poured a cloudy mess that looked like pee, but with a tan head. The beer actually did not taste like a IPA which is good for me. It was not too bad, very light and kinda fruity. Not my fav beer in the world for sure and I'd have to say I most likely would not buy this again.

Really like this IPA. Very smooth, so many IPAs have that afterburner effect but not Misery Bay. Wonderful mouth feel and as I said, smooth as silk for an IPA. Decent amount of alcohol at 6.5% boosts the flavor but the alcohol content isn't over the top. A good beer, glad I found it.
