Misery Bay IPA is a hazy, light amber ale topped with a very faint, off-white film. It has a sweet caramel malt aroma, maybe a hint of resiny, wooden hops... maybe not. It's medium bodied, smooth, almost flat. The finish is kind of slick. It tastes very caramelly and slightly sweet, with a wooden bitterness at the finish. I Probably wouldn't call this an IPA, but maybe it could pass as an ESB.

Erie,Pennsylvania is home to Erie Brewing company! At 6.5% abv not a high number of ibu's.
A- Deep gold. An srm of about 6. Tiny bit off white bright foam that last only for a couple seconds showing its low does of carbonation. Great lacing on the glass showing a good presentative beer.
S- Malty caramel nose. Use of possible pale malt and a little bit of crystal malt. Aromas of caramel fruit, a slight note of diacetyl, aromas of tropical citrus pine and resinous pine.
T- Up front (fungi form papillae) expect a smooth taste of sweet malt and a zesty spark of bitterness followed by (foliate papillae) a fruity and still malty coat overlapping the bitter character,. On the finish (circumvallete papillae) the malt fades away to make room for the lingering bitterness but still the bitterness dose not throw you back to you seat it's a very acceptable bitterness.
M- medium bodied, lightly carbonated, a low count of I I for an IPA making it easier to drink I the sun over the summer when you dangling your feet in the water of your swimming pool.fruity, malty and hoppy character makes it feel good on the palate and a great sessionability ( you can actually drink a six pack and be good or have about 3 and enjoy it)
O- overall it's not the best of the best (it's not Ccb jai Alia) but it's fruity and malty characters makes for great sessionability. The malty , fruity and hoppy characters play well on the diamond and play well all nine innings( baseball season is on people lets playyy ball!!!)
Food pairing- I paired this sucker with a pulled pork barbecue sandwich with coleslaw in it . It's was amazing as the bitterness went well with the smokiness and sweetness of the BBQ. As a side dish I had pork and BBQ baked Beens mixed and servedomg franking orgasm!
Cheers my friends don't forget to visit you home brew store to be part of the town brewers guild there is a lot of volunteer opertunities and chances to learn a bunch. Thanks guys
