This pale ale pours out as a yellowish brown color, the head was decent and faded over time. The smell had a light citrus aroma with some earthy malts in the background. The taste of the beer had a decent flavor of some muddy hops. The mouthfeel was medium bodied. Overall I wasn't too impressed with this beer. Not really worth trying again.

Appearance: Poured a deep amber color with a small off-white head that disappeared quickly. Very little lacing present.

Smell: Very malty..is that maple syrup I smell? A very faint hops aroma.

Taste: This was much more malty than I would expect with only a bitter hops aftertaste. I would like to see more hop flavor.

Mouthfeel: An average, medium-bodied feel. Good carbonation.

Drinkability: This is really not one of my favorites, but it goes down OK.

It might be that I'm just used to drinking more hoppy APA's, but I was not impressed with this beer. It is not bad by any means, but just not something I will probably buy again.

Sample at AleFest Dayton: This brew is an orange-amber color with a medium-thin off-white head and a thin sheet of lacing. Medium body with a rather plain-Jane flavor of caramel malt and hops. The finish is actually pretty nice with hops and fruit, and there is a malty aftertaste. Kind of a letdown overall though.

Thanks goes out to jwc215 for this one.

Pours a nice clean/clear golden yellow color, nice carbonation, nice little fizzy off-white head, with some sticky lacing left behind. The nose is malty, very slight hop note, and caramel. The taste is sweet, malty, very slight hoppyness, and some caramel. Medium body. Drinkable, not too bad.
