Seems like a contract brewed beer, I've even seen it in the past with other breweries making the same labeled beer. Very light sight as I unleashed the cap, vigorous pour only reveals a smal off white head with fine speckled lacing. Body is a light amber, nose smells of light cereal grains minimal American hops, abv is higher than expected in most circumstances. I would like to see the website or hear the story behind this beer label. Nice cereal grains, like walking into a grain room, a bit of husk. Caramelized sweetness awesome flavor actually. Minimal hops a bit of light herbal hops, not bad beer by anymeans just a bit light on flavor. One dimensional malt character is a good thing when it tastes like this...the body is light to medium bodied evenly carbonated non cloying background a bit harsh by some folks standards but I love the carmelized notes with a bit of husks edging it out. Overall impressive offering from Erie especially if these proceeds go towards a good cause like defending freedom or a charity for a our troops or new brewers who used to be soldiers either way a good beer even if the label looks a bit G.I. Joeish.
