Bottle poured into a mug.
A- It pours a rich amber color with a 1 finger off-white/tan head. The head turns into a light lacing that gently sticks to the side of the mug. It had light carbonation.
S- The scent is mostly of sweet malts (mostly caramel tones). There was a light grassy hop aroma.
T- The flavor was mostly of sweet and roasted malts. It tasted of sweet bread and caramel.
M- It had a light carbonation and nice full feel.
D- Very drinkable. It was on the sweet end of the spectrum, but not too overpowering to be enjoyable.
Overall- I feel this is a great example of the style. It's easy to drink a number of these in a sitting. I picked up a case and it's been one of my "go-to" beers of the early fall.
