Pours out as one of the darker Oktoberfests I have seen. Clear and deep deep orange.
The nose presents a rich malty profile of slightly toasted bread, caramel, and a toffee like character. The hops seem to get a bit lost in the shuffle.
Drinks smooth. A bit on the lighter side on the body. Great carbonation. There is a touch of bitterness. Herbal hop flavor seems to pop more in the taste than on the nose. Big bready malt character with some sweetness.
One of the best out there.
