Enjoyed a 20 oz serving on 9-24-22 at The Yardhouse in Greenville, SC for $9.49.
Beer was served dark brown with a nice off-white head.
Nose was of lightly roasted sweet malts.
Taste was a lightly roasted malt base that was slightly sweet, but hopping was nicely done the correct residual sweetness i look for in the style.
Mouthfeel was light to medium bodied and very soft and velvety.
Overall a nice representation of the style!

Pours an almost clear amber color with a small head and light lacing.
Smells of bread and molasses.
Tastes of sweet malt and molasses.
Medium body with slight carbonation. Soft slightly syrupy mouthfeel.

Carbonated and tastes like a musty basement. On tap in Hastings, MN.

Having this on-tap at the Sacsenheim. This beer draws a fairly dark, cloudy copper/brown color with a slightly off-white head that’s over an inch thick when first drawn. Settles to a thick ring lining the inside of the glass along with a nice thick surface coat of foam and good lacing. Aromas of toasted, bready caramel malt sweetness and a bit of raisin and plum along with the slightest hint of spice. The taste is pretty much the same, with bready, slightly toasted, caramel malt sweetness that gives way to hints of raisin and plum and a slight peppery spice note along with slight earthy hops. Has a slightly crisp, also smooth and frothy, slightly creamy, medium to full bodied mouthfeel with moderate to heavy carbonation. Has a clean finish. Very easy to drink. Good representation of this style.
