This wheat was consumed from a standar 50cl bottle into a standard pint glass, resulting in a cloudy bright yellow gold color with a one-inch thick white head. Lots of carbonation release evident. The head slowly dropped to a thin skim and eventually to zero. A few streaks of lace left behind.

The aroma was all banana, esters, bubblegum, and a hint of clove and mandarin. A bit too muted for my taste and there was a very slight sulfur note in there that I thought was out of place.

Taste of wheat and malty sweetness up front with a lot of esters alongside banana, clove, and spice. Nothing over the top - well balanced and tasty.

Mouthfeel is on the lighter side of medium with a crisp and distinctive mouthfeel.

In terms of drinkability, I would consider this one of my favorite hefeweizens and certainly a classic. I think I prefer this to many Canadian?American made hefeweizens, but not as much as I appreciate the turly better and authentic German brews.

Got it in Hungary.

A - Excellent sunny golden color, medium carbonation. Tick creamy white foam. Stays long enough.
S - Sweeter notes. Orange and other citrus aroma with some caramel flavor.
T/M - Maybe a bit watery taste. Mostly usual for Hefe Weizen style. Medium carbonation, low bitterness. Highly drinkable, creamy.

O - Classic Hefe..

A - Hazy dark honey. OK head retention and lacing.

S - Estery nose. Usual suspects of banana and clove. Solid intensity.

T - Starts out as a solid hefe, nice banana notes, but as it warms there are some sulfury/cooked corn notes that come through more that are difficult for me to ignore.

M - Light bodied, well carbonated.

O - Good Hefe, i'll drink it fast next time.
