March 2013: 500 ml bottle, probably from Voldby Købmandsgård, Denmark. ABV is 4.4%. Dark brown colour, moderate off-white to beige head. Sweetish aroma of malt sugar and unfermented wort, also notes of bread and dust. Very sweet, sugary and malty flavour, reminiscent of a Danish dark "hvidtøl", but despite the sweetness, the mouthfeel is fairly thin. No hops detected. Not awful, though - just not something I’ll buy again.

holy moly, bought at the edeka in ohlsdorf, that is some bad beer, it kind of reminds me of the dutch oud bruin sweet dark lager, but like, worse, it’s super duper sweet, like faro schwarzbier, to the point where it’s so far removed from the style that it ceases to taste even like beer, very soda like, there’s some dark malty flavour there but it’s just buried beneath an overwhelming sweetness, and an astringent flavour on the finish to boot, almost dusty, medium bodied, medium carbonation, very bad

0.5l bottle, “17.03.19” on the back label, pint glass.
Light cola color, actual Porter-like head that fades in a couple minutes, but laces well.
Metallic and nothing else. It’s almost sans aroma.
Whoa! Is this cola? Did I accidentally buy a soda? Sweet, cola, maybe nutty or treacly if I’m generous.
Light, quick acting on the tongue, and then a flat, fading, sweet finish.
This is very possibly the worst beer I have ever had and I will not finish it. I’m not sure what they were doing here; a sweet schwarzbier to mimick a porter possibly. It’s terrible if you like actual beer. I don’t think I’ve ever given a beer a 1 before, so forgive me while I go pour this out.

L-Dark, but too clear for a porter
S-Sulphury, with a hint of malt, and lots of sweet undertones
T-Not a hint of dark malt, no bitterness at all. Just sweet, with a sour milk flavor. Also, utter disappointment, I could taste the disappointment.
F-Almost watery with minimal carbonation
O- The worst commercial beer I've ever had. It says porter, but it's certainly not a porter. Missed on everything except the basic color.

.5 L bottle poured into a shaker.
A- Brown with some tan hues shining through. Head is off-white, nearing tan, but fades into a ring quickly.
S- Sweet caramel, light chocolate notes, and a bit of a lacto tang?
T- Sweet, caramel, chocolate.
M- Body is medium, almost creamy, with a sweet finish.
O- Strange. Almost closer to a milk stout. Desserty. Un-porterlike.

Interesting beer. From the bottle, it pours a dark brown with a modest tan head. The head vanishes quickly, leaving a thin ring and an island in the middle. Sweetish in the nose and mouth. Not a porter, but if you like your beer a bit on the dark sweet side, not bad.

This is not a porter, but something like a malty lemonade drink.
Doesn't even taste like beer.

This is the only beer I poured out and did not finish, ever. Not worth the bytes it takes to write more.

I lived in Germany for 5 years and tried around 100 or so beers and I want to go on record saying that I love porters and this is no porter it tastes like a mixture of an average Pilsner coca cola and a twist of lemon with carbonation added very unGerman
