A - Pours a murky and opaque golden tan color with light carbonation and a soapy lacing ring around the top perimeter.
S - Tropical fruit and light caramel malt, for a big IPA the aroma is pretty subdued.
T - Tropical fruit rind and some spice appears midway through but is barely detectable, ends with a hefty pine bitterness that slams the palate and lingers for a good long time. At the very end when the bitterness kicks in there's a little bit of spicy tropical resin. As I work through the bottle there is more tropical fruit resin coating the mouth but lightly.
M - Medium light body with nice carbonation pricklies on the tongue, the hops create a cotton-like feel in the mouth and the alcohol is not detectable.
O - I think this bottle is pushing the one month old mark so it could have been way more potent in the nose and on the palate closer to the bottle date, 'have no way of telling but looking at how the overall score has declined since the first review I'm feeling this might be the case. Glad I could try this as I'm always looking for something new to try, not sure I would seek another bottle. I think where CB's really knocked it out of the D-IPA park is with the Anniversary IPA they brewed for The Old Toad in Rochester.

Had the pleasure of having this beer on tap at the brewery, and what a treat.
Poured a great hazy orange color with a moderate head.
The aroma has an excellent citrusy and dank hop characteristic.
The taste of the beer was very well balanced, with a malt level that was not too intrusive, a solid level of hop bitterness, and most importantly, a strong hop flavor rounding out the experience that really hits the tongue.
Nice level of carbonation and good mouthfeel.
Overall: This is excellent beer, with an ideal balance of hoppy aroma and flavor.
==> This is the second batch of this limited release beer from the brewery, and as I understand it, they have had to tweak the hop combination based on availability, so get it while it lasts...Amazing Beer.
